Invalid Target

New to the forum and been playing only ~1 yr so be gentle. Not sure what the hell is going on but since Sinister Strike was upgraded to Dispatch I haven't been able to use it. Every time I get "invalid target" even though they are quite valid targets and I have only daggers equipped. Any hints as to what's up?

Dispatch replaced Backstab for assassination rogues. You can only use Dispatch on targets with <35% health also so if you are trying to use it on a dummy it won't work. (unless mutilate proc's blindside)

You don't use Sinister Strike as assassination rogue, use Mutilate instead. I think you'll enjoy the result, as it's superior to SS. :)
But keep Dispatch on your bar, it's a really nifty thing when it works, and using Mutilate will cause it to work.

Once you get Blindside at level 40 your sinister strike is replaced by it

Assa dont learn BS its Dispatch instead that replace SS

You can only use Blindside when the target is below 35% health or when Blindside procs. Use Dispatch whenever possible. Otherwise, you should be using Mutilate. (Obviously, this isn't the whole rotation).

"Replaces Sinister Strike" - This ability removes sinister strike from your spellbook.
