Skirts & Kilts

I've been searching Wowhead's database (and googled for transmog/rp sites) for a complete list of all the pieces of leg armor, regardless of armor type, that resemble a skirt/kilt instead of a pair of trousers. Sad thing is that I can only find a small selection of them.

I've tried searching the items for 'skirt' 'kilt' 'wrap' and whatnot, I've tried using the 'same model as' tabs, but it just doesn't get me every model available.

So, is there anyone who either knows how I can find all these items on Wowhead, or perhaps has a link to some transmog/rp website that has already listed all these items for me? I'd be much obliged.

The addon Mogit will definitely help ingame, or try Icy Veins' transmog guide for something similar.

Also consider that both chest and leg items may cause the kilt, though for the latter I know only some leather items.

Since the items don't have a property that defines the model type it's not something that is defined in the database or, therefore, searchable. If the property IsSkirt - true/false were added it would require manually entering the value for every item in the DB. As such you want to look for community-driven projects for help on this one (and Nulgar ably suggests a couple). All the best with the search!

Thanks for the response, guys. I'm not after something that requires me to log into the game, but I'll have a look at that Icy Veins website; it looks quite elaborate and might just be what I need. :D

And the reason I'm after legs and not entire robes is that I'm looking for possible matches to go with some really nice tops that I've listed as transmog options. Especially with just about every caster walking around in robes, it's a welcome change to mix and match a bit with tops and skirts/kilts.

Is there a way to browse that results in a gallery that's uniquified to only show one of items with the same model (same model as)? Oh hmm, same model can still have a different color scheme, so it's actually model, not model + texture.

The in-game reforger knows when two items look the same, and won't let you waste gold xmogging to an item that already has that appearance. That kind of level of detail is just clutter / DB load / slower loading pages most of the time though, and maybe better left to specialist xmog sites / databases.

Is it possible that models that use the same model and skin across item types can bee added to the "same model as" tab?

For instance "Primalstrike vest" is leather, but the same model and skin as "Imbued netherweave tunic"

Is this something that can be done?

We decided against that because you can't use different item types for transmog. It's something we periodically discuss though, I can see how it would be useful to know that a unique mail item actually has a ton of leather options, so you could put together a rogue lookalike set etc.
