Socket Bonuses at lvl 90 (What to ignore what to match?)

I'm Sorry if this has been answered already but I was looking thorugha few websites (EJ, Noxxic etc) and I couldn't find any where that answere dmy quesiton.

As an up and coming raiding shaman I was wondering...

What is the minimum +Intellect Socket Bonus before I should try to match it on a peice of gear....The additional stats on gems now throw me out entirely as to what to overlap and what to ignore so I've only socketed red in red and left the rest till I have more knowledge.

Any suggestions or Input would be greatly appreciated.

Since nobody's jumped in here yet, I'll throw my two cents in.

Now that primary stats only have half the budget of secondary stats, basically any free bonus is worth socketing for, unless it's stamina or something equally useless. Just run with the same plan that you've probably been using up til now: red gems in red/prismatic sockets, hybrid reds in everything else.

Secondary stats are surprisingly balanced for elemental from what I've seen and read so far (although crit will feel the hurt first at reforging time), so there's nothing that you really need to avoid. Grab those freebies with both hands and love it.

Intellect is still the best, but it is no longer available in big enough chunks to justify ignoring socket bonuses.

I'll Match Socket Bonuses for this Tier of raiding and do another set of research in the next content patch.
