MoP mob tag

So I cant find anything in the patch notes or anywhere about a change to how tagging a mob works, but there must have been a change.
I tag a mob with corruption, run 20 yards and tag another, look back and the first mob is stolen by someone after I tagged it. Its really making me angry. I was even tanking 3 mobs with
, had done roughly 20% damage, and another warlocks steals a mob by dotting it up and sending in pet, as though i had never touched it.
Any seen anything official on changes or it a bug?
From what I noticed, I tagged a mob but someone else kills it but still counts as my credit and my loot. Are you able to loot and get credit for the kill?
Could also be they hit it before the first tick went off; I've had that a few times.
It has changed now, you must do a certain amount of damage for the mob to become tagged now. Not sure how much but I discovered this whilst helping my GM get to 90 the other day. At most I would guess it's maybe 10%, but please correct me if I am wrong.
I think that this change was in response to people tagging a bunch of mobs in crowded areas, and then leaving other people to fight them for no credit or loot. I heard that was a problem in some crowded servers. This way, people who are pulling a group and immediately DPS-ing them will probably not have much of an issue. People who are tagging mobs in other people's pulls and running off, though, won't get credit.
