Staying alive in arena as disc priest.

Hey there.
So, I'am playing a disc priest in a 3vs3 team, rouge mage priest setup. I'am having a problem staying alive. I can keep my friends topped at 80%+ pretty easy, but i die sooo fast myself.
It usually happens as a target switch. They switch target from the mage to me, and it feels like I drop 30%-50% hp in a few seconds. With the help of silence, stuns and other forms of cc, I die, before I even get a few heals of any kinds off. I sit at 9.2k sp and 4180 ress. I'am 95% sure that my gems, enchants and spec are on spot, but something's not right. According to my friends in the team, hitting a disc priest is nothing but absorbs and they feel like they won't get anywhere. Apparently I'am doing something from wrong since I'am so easy to nuke down.

Don't it if I'am wearing pve gear. I will change it.
Please say so if you need more/other information.
Thanks,
Shingol

In an equally geared situation, if two dps swap to you and you're caught in a stun without a shield and pain supp off cooldown, you're 100% going to die unless your teammates start peeling something fierce.
Renew glyph is generally preferred over Flash Heal because of the passive healing bonus, whereas Flash Heal is very very limited in use, and generally if someone's at or below 25% they're generally *!@#ed, and for only 10% extra crit chance this doesn't actually increase overall survivability very much.
Basically, you need to be able to tell when they're going to swap to you. Sometimes it's obvious, like you have a full rack of warlock dots on you and you see the rogue waddling over to you. You need to start LoSing at this point, get your shield up and 3 stacks of grace with a renew.
The key to surviving a swap is being prepared for it.

What brokenwing said.
When you get hard switched by 2 front-loading dps classes you WILL feel the pain. LOS and tools like lifegrip are your best friend. If you don't have things like grip keybound/macro'd you should probably look into doing that because it can save your ass. Don't forget Mass Dispel is amazing, abuse it as much as you possibly can against pala bubbles, iceblock etc
RMP i don't really think is suited to "cleave" tactics where you train the opposition healer, it's annoyingly effective in mdps comps like TSG though, just got to try and live through the initial burst. Maybe start with a sap early on one of the dps and open on their healer to try and avoid that initial front loaded burst on you? Things like LSD/RLS are probably trickier comps to play against tbh but neither will try to train you in the same way mdps comps do, they are more likely to exert all round pressure and then hard switch you when you are vulnerable and low on mana. Just got to hope your team can keep them defensive and get a kill I guess...
