Can somebody explain to me how can I make money with the Auction House?
Buy low, sell high, profit?
Seriously though; you sell items on the AH other players buy them. Those items may be Greens, Blues, Purples, crafting mats, enchanting mats, pets or mounts. Just a matter of finding a niche and dominating it.

I would actually recommend Auctionator - lets you undercut your competition slightly and even scans auctions for cancellation if YOU get undercut. =)
You can also scan and analyze item prices like Auctioneer without the percentage markers everywhere (so it may require a little analysis on your part to see price trends, but it's not particularly difficult and once you're done you can try doing stocks)
I don't understand how people don't make money on the AH, unless they just don't use it.
If you find anything useful, and you don't need it, sell it. Even low level mats can sell well to people powerleveling their professions. On a low-pop server I've sold Adamantite ore for 380 gold a stack, Copper Ore for 90 gold a stack, and Truesilver ore for 35 gold a piece.
Gear can be worth more based on appearance now that transmog exists, so always ctrl+click the items to check if they'd be good for transmute. I have sold low level greens for 500-750 gold because they were nice for transmog.
Check the mats vs. the finished item before making anything- if ore is worth more than any armor you can make, sell the ore. If the DE mats are worth more than the greens you have, get them disenchanted. Right now, the green quality cataclysm gems- yellow and orange- aren't worth anything because you can't use them for dailies, and no one will stick them in gear anymore. Instead of selling them uncut, or cut, make the green jewelry out of them, have it DE's and sell the mats- much better return on materials.
Also, don't be afraid to sell high if you're the only one with something up- just be patient enough to keep reposting until someone buys it.
If you happen to be near an out of the way vendor, and he sells recipes, pets, nice looking greens, etc., don't be afraid to buy them and post them at a significant mark up- after all, not everyone knows what vendors sell.
Always loot everything, don't vendor anything you think someone might buy for more, always gather resources you pass if you have the profession.
Also, scan for underpriced items- especially ones with no buyout. I actually do it all manually- no AH add-on- but I check for things listed with 1 silver-3-4 gold minimum bid every day, and usually find some deals. I one got like 7000 gold worth of glyphs for about 10 gold because every bid was 1-10 silver, and buyouts were like 300 gold.
Get TSM and learn to use it (read: Google some guides). It's easily 10x better than the other two put together.
Also, if something has a posting price that's significant- like a gold or more- and it's not selling very highly, it may be worth it to just vendor the item and save the cost of re-posting it. If it's something that sells quickly, then no worried- but if it's like the Epic quality crafting mats form BC, BC blue quality uncut gems, etc. there just isn't going to be much of a call for it and you'll end up losing money by the time it sells.
Also, if you know a particular mat is necessary for a mount, a pet, a vanity item, etc., then you can price it higher because it will still be in demand by high level toons. If you know that a particular type of meat is needed to get over a hump in cooking, or a particular ore is good for power leveling smelting at certain levels, that can sell higher as well.
Oh- and if you post the same types of items consistently, you'll get a feel for what the "normal" price is. If the bottom drops out for a day or two because of some serious undercutting, don't be afraid to post at the normal price and wait it out- usually the lower level stuff gets bought by bargain hunters and re-posted or used, and you're back to regular level quickly.
