Low level dungeon dps

Hi all,
I recently started leveling a warlock with a full heirloom set but my dps in dungeons is so bad compared to others'. I noticed this about locks while leveling other characters as well.
So my question is what you guys think the best spec is for dungeons, and at what level do we start to do better?

Destro for the nukes, most definitely. Felguard AOE is nice, but Destro really gives the biggest bang for the buck in the lower levels. No Affliction love unfortunately, except if you're solo-questing a lot, then it's king thanks to virtually no down-time.

Things die to fast at early levels, so your dots don't get a chance to tick much. Destro or Demo should fair a little better. But who cares about low level dps. Hell, I que on my disc priest as dps.

Agreed, who cares about DPS at low levels. The FG is an easy button for leveling whether it is dungeons or questing. Not sure if it is the case now, but when I leveled my lock, destro was not mana efficient enough to grind out quests.

Honestly; it's true. If they tried to balance the game at low levels, they'd be forced to have hundreds of people working around the clock trying to fix little bugs.
Currently, I'm running 1-60 dungeons as Affliction...and I love it; tab target, spread the dots around in mob packs, then Rain of Fire and profit. When it comes to the bosses, Bane of Doom, Unstable Affliction and Corruption, then just Shadow Bolt and refresh dots as needed; simple easy and very profitable. I don't care if I'm top dps or not, since the only thing that matters is the mob goes down. Anything beyond that is just ego.

@ Velthorax I said who cares about dps, well maybe some people do. Fair enough argument. Now with that said, the OP wanted to know why his dps is bad. Well I could have said it's you. I level alts all the time and do great dmg. I'm currently leveling my 2nd warlock, and leveling Aff. I do great dmg in dungeons. By me stating who cares about low level dps was me trying to be polite. If you want to do good dps at low levels, you have to work just like you do end game. It's more then dot, dot, dot, shoot.
The game is as balanced as it's gonna get at low levels PvE wise. You have to remember that in random dungeons that people are different levels, have different gear, and some, most actually are there for experience, not dps. So they won't give it all. They just do enough to kill stuff. So the balance has to be with the players, cuz the game is fine.
Now if you wanna talk about PvP balance, then there's an argument.

They need incentive to improve their game, but weak people are letting them get away with this imbalance in the game!
If 'weak' means I don't care for lvl 1-58 which I pass in few days of playing, guess I'm weak.
As long as I can kill 2 mobs at once on my own, I don't really care what happens below the level of current expansion simply cause it goes by so quickly I can barely do any instances.
