Hello all. I've started to level a DK to have as my new 'main' to get BoA's for my other toons, and now I have some proffession questions.
I know I'll have to grind mining through the low level zones, but that's not a problem. My problem is, should I go with Blacksmithing or Jewelcrafting? Which is better, talking coming items and perks. Also, moneywise, which is the easiest to level? I'm not going to spend like ... Any money on it.

Blacksmithing is probably the best way to go if you're hoping to minimize leveling costs. Jewelcrafting will likely give a bigger payout at max level compared to Blacksmithing, but it will require additional mats be purchased in order to level it. In contrast, Blacksmithing can almost exclusively be leveled using materials acquired via Mining.

Also JC seems to have there Profession bonus nerfed, and likewise BS has had there Prof. bonus buffed with the release of Epic Gems.
Before Epic Gems JC could get 3 x +67 JCer's gems to place where they like; non-JC had to gem with rare +40 . Making the total bonus 3 x +27 or +81 overall bonus. Likewise BS gets there 2 gem slots in Bracers that they can fill with +40 gems.
Enter Epic Gems that have +50 Now BS can fill there 2x Bracer Gem Sockets with 2 x +50 Gems for a total of +100 Profession Bonus.
Meanwhile, JC still has to use 3 x +67 Gems to get there Profession Bonus, but that is only 3 x +17 over whats available to everyone, for a total of +51 of Profession Bonus.
Most other professions where you have a choice of stats have remained at +80 Profession.
