I have a level 30 human paladin... where should be the best leveling area...

Cape of Stranglethorn or Southern Barrens...

Any suggestions about the two places? where's the best? where's the lame or boring?

Depends on several factors:

Have you quested the zones pre Cata and want to see the difference? Have you quested one of the zones with another toon and want to see different lore?

I know for myself, I am leveling several toons, primarily to get the guild Stay Classy, and am running some toons through the Eastern Kingdoms and some through Kalimdor. Mostly so that I am not seeing the same quests over and over and over...again. But also having done pre cata it is also nice to more of the 1 - 60 revamp, but I am also thinking maybe attempting again on a post cata toon.

eh.. none of the zones are connected at all except perhaps ashenvale and Stonetalon. You can jump around as much as you like.

I think he was asking which had better questing flow or lore. For alliance, I would prefer s.barrens because of the whole ´who is the bad guy here´.. thing. Cape is rather bland, but I think you have a chance for a 15k gold random pet drop..

If you care about the story, then southern barrens is great if you're into the Horde-Alliance conflict, and in stranglethorn you have pirates, which is awesome. If you've done northen strangletorn, then in the start of the cape you finish the story of the rebirth of the Gurubashi empire.

As far as quest flow goes, I felt the barrens goes smoother
