Did i actually win or is it an fake email?
Return to board index
Today i got an email from some one claiming they are from the Zam Network telling me i have won 2th place in the The Great Noblegarden TCG Egg Hunt, this includes a Magical Orge Idol and a Champion Deck booster pack. I just think it seems abit suscpicous. I mean the chances of wining a competition like this must be extremely low. What makes it kind of beliveble is the fact that they're not asking for any credit card information. All they're asking for is my address and phone number. and the the email was sent from someone with ''zam.com'' at the end of the email. What do you guys think?
Hello Mutte1990. Your account has 6 of the site achievements that were part of this year's Easter egg hunt. so you were entered six times into the draw and were lucky enough to win. The Zam email is legitimate.
Did you not know that you were entering the contest when you followed the clues to those pages? ^_^
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
Could very well be, since wowhead is part of the ZAM network (you can see all the links at the bottom of the page).
Just checked the
but it hasn't got a listing of winners yet, but they may be waiting for people to reply to ensure everyone they are giving prizes to are 'valid' and not abandoned accounts, etc.
If you win, the contest page will be edited to include your Wowhead username and you will be contacted via the email address associated with that account. Make sure your Wowhead information is updated; we don't want a certain Spring Rabbit to have to skip your house because you didn't answer!
EDIT: Darn, am too slow at posting ;) Congratulations on your prize!
