Pointy Apples in MoP

With the enhancement of the graphics in WoW though-out the expansions and the better PC's that we now play it on now etc etc. why oh why do they still insist on making models with points on them. A very low polygon count with a fairly low resolution texture. For example, in a screenshot of MoP we are seeing pointy hexagonal apples. We know standard PC's can do more now, hence games like Rift and SWTOR..... :((

It's Beta; there are still the funny little checker boxes all over the place for specific objects(such as the Pandaren Female Skeleton); just wait, they'll get to them.

i wish people would know that they are plaing a BETA not the actual thing
witch means that there will be tuns of bugs and unfinished things

This is true, they could be using a model from an older apple. They may or may not make a new model for MoP that is more graphically current but I personally wouldn't care. It's just an apple to me.

As had been said by many before first, it is beta and there are many things that do not have finalized shapes.
Secondly, one of the things that, in my opinion, is great about WOW is that you do not need a near cutting edge computer to play. Yes, you will not get the highest resolution or frame rates, but you can play the game.
I play on a mid level computer from the house and the older laptop that the company gives me when on the road. The home system allows LFR level raiding, but I could not be in a progression minded raiding situation with it. With the work computer, I can play and can handle 5 mans, but not further.
If the graphics and computing requirements were higher I would be unable to play at all.
