Two of those hats one notices at sports games with holsters for cans. Christmas presents for my friends who didn't turn up for the lecture I intended to give presents on... and we don't have any more lectures until February now (due to essays, exams and a dissertation progress report). I'll probably plan handing in my report and two essays to coincide with theirs.
255. Adulthood is a social construct really. No universally agreed on definition, though there are benchmarks representing normal development in medicine and legal definitions. R Kelly be damned though.

A very cheerful colour painted wooden figurine of Tintin & Milou that my mother picked up at a local market somewhere in West Africa a few years ago. It is the silliest item I have by virtue of being the only item that can even be remotely described as silly in the first place. My furniture and clothes are 90% greyscale and I can't think of a single item of any kind that's strictly ornamental.

Silliest thing? An Ohio State Route 30 sign that I have hanging from my wall. It's heavy as hell but it looks pretty unique, don't see one everyday, especially since I live in California.

I was at one time, I still don't like them, but I no longer fear them.

Only if they are going towards my eyes.
I'll probably have to follow this line of logic.

Only if they are going towards my eyes.
This is a very reasonable thing to fear.
As for myself, I hate needles. I'm not gonna make a fuss if I'm gonna get an injection of anything, but I'm still gonna hate it.
If there's one thing i hate more than needles is going to the dentist. DAT DRILL!

Incredibly afraid. I've passed out, cried, and made my gums bleed so bad because I was clenching my teeth so bad while getting shots. I can't even watch people get shots on TV.
The last time I got a shot is when I had my wisdom teeth out and the nurse cradled my head until I fell asleep. That one wasn't so bad lol

If they're really freaking big, or going somewhere sensitive, maybe a little. In general, though? Not really.

I wouldn't do Heroin, if that's what you're asking.

Ever had a needle touch your bone?
I wouldn't say I'm afraid of them, not any more at least, but I do detest them.

No, don't mind them at all really. Wouldn't want them near my eyes. My mother had a misplaced epidural once, lol. First time student conducting it.
My sister hated needles when she was younger, so the GP pinched her arm multiple times while my sister's head was turned, gave her a shot, resumed pinching her, then told her she had her injection. She was no longer afraid of needles.

I don't
enjoy
them, but I deal with it. It's one of those necessary pains that one must endure from time-to-time.

When I was 15, I had had a horrible respiratory infection. I had to get a dose of antibiotics so large that if took 2 syringes to hold it.
I guess, because it was such a large amount, I had to be standing, and the shots had to be in in my ass cheeks.
Anyway, whatever this stuff was, it felt like she was injecting molten lava into my ass and legs, and halfway through the second shot, I passed out cold. Now, I have been over 6' tall, and over 200 lbs since I was 13, and this nurse was all of 100 lbs soaking wet. Needless to say, I woke up, strapped to a backboard, and the nurse was on a stretcher next to me. When I fell, it knocked her through the drywall in the office, and I busted my head open on the cabinet.
Now, ever since then..I don't have a "fear" of needles, but I seem to have developed a psychological tie between getting a shot, and passing out. At least 4 times since that happened, I have blacked out getting simple shots, like the flu vaccine. Its pretty bad when I have to let doctors know beforehand, that I am more likely than not going to take a little nap if they have to stick a needle in my arm.
