"Was it wise to ally with this... Morec? I understand his forces could be useful in routing the Tuskarr, but he is a new and unknown player and has made his intent for pieces of the Fjord quite clear. I'm merely asking, with all due respect of course, whether it is for the best we join with his group." Drakkus bowed slightly in deference when finished.

"Of course he will, my lady. I have little doubt of your power. But, perhaps we should not be too forthcoming with them. After all they desired our alliance, perhaps it would be wise to receive some sort of assurance from them of their intentions here," Drakkus said.

Sataira stared for a moment, her thoughts drifting slightly. The death knight glanced upwards at Drakkus. "And what exacty would you suggest?" She questioned.

"If I may be so bold, I would suggest a few dozen Tuskarr heads, my lady. Soften the enemy, prove the willingness of our new allies, give us something to finally put up on the wall, and also give us an idea of the strength of who we are attempting to deal with. By your will, of course."

"Nibbles, make sure you don't drool on our employer's boots. Or drop my weapon on them," the cloaked man intoned, turning around to face Faust, the hem of his cloak sweeping around his heavy boots, and a pair of blue lights glowing under his hood as he inclined his head to look down on Kaufman, the shadow of the hood now covering the chin as well.
"Good day to you."

Father Bart touched the Colonel's shoulder, "This expedition, do you know how deep they are - in both senses?"

Faust's eyes trailed up the death knight's form thoughtfully. "It could well be, it could well be. Please," Faust pulled out a chair from a nearby table, "have a seat."

The death knight made a brief motion and his manservant pulled out another chair for him to sit down on, which he did. He cast back his hood, revealing a long, pale face with typical Lordaeronian features, framed by a mane of steel-gray hair that fell down onto his shoulders.
Nibbles stood at attention the best he could behind his master.
"My name," the death knight said, "Is Alaric Dalson."

"Not sure which other meaning for deep you're groping for, father," Laurence answered, adding father in as an afterthought after he had taken a look at the other human's robes, "but, far as geological depth goes they'll be a few hundred feet under. In what used to be, and could well be even now, faceless territory."

Clink and Clank
Dalaran
Clink and Clank are a pair of mechagnomes found by a unknown engineer and rebuilt in order to aid him in his creations. The two have been heavily modified and now posses personalities and are able to comprehend what goes on around them mimicking actual organic lifeforms. Clink is the more level headed of the two and is modified for medical and analysis of organic life forms while Clank often jumps to wild conclusions and is modified for combat and mechanical repairs.
"What do we need here?" Clank asked as the two gnomes walked into the library careful avoid meeting to many people.
"We must find the books for the creator before we can continue." Clink said as they ran down the rows.
"It's only maps. What could he want with those?" Clank said.
"It's not our place to ask. We shall know soon enough." Clink replied.

"At least those things have working bloodstream," Morgan said out of the blue with a meaningful smirk. "And by how deep Father Bart probably meant some idiom like 'way beyond their depth'-"
"Or, more likely, 'knee-deep in shit'," Jack interjected helpfully. Morgan glared at him.

Laurence shook his head, "knowing the fool in charge of them, knee-deep in their own blood is most likely," he stated, looking around at their surroundings for any signs of movement.
Laurence halted a small distance away from what appeared to be a battered gatehouse, minus the gate itself. "Well, who here likes bein' bait? I sure as fel don't, but it's the only way to tell if there's hostiles waiting up there," at this the human gestured up towards the distant ceiling, c0cking his rifle.

"Since we're still in undead-infested territory..." Glau muttered, glancing sideways at Father Bart. The latter nodded, taking out a bottle with a sun drawn on it crudely. He opened it with a quiet pop, and the young wizard muttered under his breath, causing holy water to float out and, spreading swiftly into a large cloud, head upwards, towards the ceiling.

At once the air filled with shrill, screech-like sounds, however it was insects rather than undead high above. Several curled up and fell to the ground, but the rest surged along the walls towards the group. There were hundreds of the creatures, making a wide range of unpleasant sounds as they rapidly closed the gap between themselves and the group.
"Sure is a fel of a lot more of the buggers than last time," Laurence said, tearing open a packet of gunpowder. Laurence proceeded to fire shot after shot from his rifle, reloading with both skill and speed, with each shot one of the insects burst into flames which then caught on its nearby friends and family.
"A li'l bit of a fireworks display helps scare 'em off quicker," he added, throwing a couple of flares and sticks of dynamite into the seething army of insects, succeeding in destroying or blinding the majority of the closest ones, before switching to his revolvers. Nevertheless the rest of the dark tide of chitin surged onwards, illuminated by the small mounds of writhing, charred insects.

Glau paled and gulped, disgust on his face obvious. He was a professional, though, so he silently lifted his ornate staff, holding it in a rifle-like manner, and uttered through clenched teeth, "
Incende. Inflammate!
"
A cone of fire rippled out of the tip of the staff, engulfing the skittering masses in front of the wizard. The air around him grew considerably colder as he drained heat out of it and into the spell.
"Now, where were those failed attempts..." Father Bart muttered, taking out several bottles, each carrying a crude image of a greenish, sickly face on it, and hurtling them into the insects. As they shattered, their contents blazed, sticking to the chitin.
Crane folded his arms on his chest and yawned, muttering, "Wake me up when in the unlikely event something gets through the fire."
"Like he- heck they will, Cap," Cantelli grinned, taking out a sawed-off pump-action shotgun, loaded with incendiary rounds, and waited for something to get close.
Cassidy was methodically taking out the largest insects one by one, shooting his oversized pistol with inhumane precision.

Vivias, Susan
Azjol'Nerub
Susan swung her mace, bashing the exoskeleton in of a large insect. She waited for more to come, smashing them one-by-one as they did.
In contrast, Vivias took off, warglaive ablaze with felfire as she sliced through nerubians without so much as an emotion on her face.
