Hey. I use Google Chrome.
When I use this 3D Viewer the screen just stays black. I have tried with Firefox also, but then it worked.
I have the latest updates on my browsers.

Minor rendering issue with robes/gloves.
F.e. this one:

Ingame, the robe sleeves are not covered by these gloves.

Try typing chrome://plugins/ into the address bar. Then click the "+Details" button and check the Flash entries. Chrome tends to keep several flash players around but sometimes disables the newer ones for some reason. If there is at least one entry for Flash that's version 11.0 or higher, enabling that one and disabling the others should fix things. If not, you'll need to upgrade Flash. (Current version is 11.3.) You may have already done that in Firefox, but nowadays Chrome uses it's own internal player, so it's separate.
Thanks, I'll try :)

I'm guessing there must be something wrong with my setup, since no-one else is complaining, but this new model viewer is incredibly slow for me; it feels slower than the old Java one was tbh. I've been poking at it off and on for a few weeks and it's variable in speed, which isn't really helpful for testing stuff - occasionally it'll load nice and fast, and once I have loaded a character model, it'll continue to be fast for the rest of my session on the site, but most times it takes 40-50 seconds plus to load each model for the first time.
I'm running a fresh Windows 7 install as of two weeks ago, so should have the latest versions of everything: my browser is Firefox; I've just installed Flash to IE8 to give that a try and it appears much faster, however the dropdown menus to change model aren't there at all, so I can't really test that very extensively.
I'm not bothered about the IE bugs, but I would love it to be usable in Firefox, so, any suggestions? Is it a caching thing which should normally take forever the first time but be ok afterwards? (If so, I've no idea why my system doesn't seem to hold onto the cache, also, caching 26 models at 40-50 sec each seems a little excessive...). Or is there something else just not right to cause it to be so slow? It feels like I'm back on dialup, and I assure you I'm not!
Modelviewer looks great btw (although I'm intrigued by the gradiented purple hair it gives UD males lol), I'm just hoping someone can help me get it moving fast enough that I'm willing to actually use it ;-)

Check that you have updated Flash! player in Firefox (FF and IE using different players last time I checked) and up-to-date Viseo drivers. (Do you have Intel emulation of a video card by chance?)

Both are fully up to date, since I reinstalled Windows entirely a couple of weeks back and installed everything from fresh downloads then. Video card is an Nvidia Geforce, not any kind of emulation, too. Bit of a mystery to me, oh well, I can live with just not using the modelviewer much, but it's a pain when I'm researching transmog outfits.

It's slow to load, fine with framerate once it eventually gets there. Basically I sit there looking at a blank box for a while with the % sloowly counting up one at a time, then a blue/purple guy with no gear on for a bit longer,
then
I get a fully functioning animated and geared guy who looks fine. It's the amount of time it takes to get that far which is the problem.
Of course to be awkward it was loading much faster tonight, I've changed nothing so no idea why it works alright sometimes and not other times, go figure. If only I could be sure it'd stay that way!

The exact same thing happens for me. I could be wrong, but I think it started several weeks ago when the Flash plugin for Firefox updated to that sandbox version (11.?). The model viewer slows to a crawl in Firefox on Win7 64b, but runs fine in Chrome or IE. It also runs fine in Safari and Firefox on my wife's Macbook Pro.
I am using the current version of Flash and FF. I don't know how to roll back, but I might not want to do that for security reasons.
My PC is fairly modern: 16 GB RAM, Geforce 670 with current non-beta drivers, 256 GB SSD drive, quad core Ivy Bridge CPU, etc. It is likely not due to hardware. I am running that Lucid Virtu MVP video virtualization software... I could try removing that.
Try this... disable hardware acceleration in FF. That seemed to make an improvement for the model viewer. Not sure why.

Thanks, done that now, hasn't immediately made a noticeable difference but hopefully it'll help overall! I hate intermittent problems, it was alright last time I posted but today it's back to being slow... nothing changed my end. My net connection should be consistent as well (ADSL, everything else I use it for seems consistent speedwise), so if it's at my end I'm at a loss as to what it is. But I guess more than just a couple of us would experience it if it was a Wowhead problem so I'm not blaming the website, just a bit confused!

The orc male model has a blue puff above their head, which I'm guessing has something to do with the hair issue that has been mentioned.
Also I get the issue after closing the model viewer, the white box is left in its place, which has been mentioned. Thanks!

The 3D model coloring for Grand Warlock Alythess and Lady Sacrolash is incomplete or completely bugged for me. Same for every man'ari Eredar female modeling.
I am using Adobe Flash Player version 11,3,31,222, on Google Chrome.
Note that I tried different models, and it has been working so far.
