I used to be really lucky when I was young with contests. I was always winning drawing contests that the elementary schools had. I even won a state drawing contest, and my drawing was on a billboard for half the year. It was pretty cool for being 9 years old and seeing your art as big as can be going into the city!
But, now that I'm older I'm incredible cautious and don't enter any contests at all. My mom was always buying &*!@ from Publisher's Clearning House and never won squat. That's how they get ya. The only contests I enter are on the Zam network.

i started during open beta. had a level 25 warlock and got stuck doing the succubus quest. Apparently, the quest was bugged and the npc i was searching for didn't exist lol. i've played off and on since then.

I played NA WoW in Vanilla on a human priest up to level 16, then had to quit for school, then made a troll warrior later which I got up to level 7 but I found it difficult to level.
Later on I made another human priest in BC which I got up to level 70 but quit for school again, then I started playing with few breaks from 3.2 up to 4.2, at which point I took another 5 month break. Now I've quit again.

I started at the end of BC,leveled a 45 Troll Hunter and 38 Troll Mage but right at the beggining of my addiction i got hacked...
I was really addicted (and I mean really) with both of my Troll Toons however I am so thankful to that hacker since he led me to such a depression in which i learned alot about self-restraint.Well I tough I learned alot about it but an year later i bough a new WoW,along with BC and the fresh WotLK,leveled undead toons (forsaken are my new love) and still take care of them to this day.

Started in midBC but didn't start raiding til WotLK. Only took 1 hiatus after guild drama/computer problems in LK, but haven't stopped since.

In about 2006 I played at my friend's house, on his account, as a nelf warrior. Then sort of forgot about it. Spring 2008, so about four years ago, I started playing properly with my nelf priest, then belf hunter, then belf priest. Quit in time for 3.1, back for 3.2, and then quit late in 3.3, only to quit again in 4.1. :P Not played since then.

Started playing sometime in BC, didn't hit 70 until a few weeks after WOTLK came out. Didn't start raiding until the very end of whatever patch Naxx was current content. Haven't played for like 3 or 4 months.

I started playing about a 2 months before WoTLK was released. I leveled a rouge to around level 60, and then got tired of spamming the 1 key to attack stuff. I leveled a paladin and hit level 70 just one hour before the midnight release of WoTLK. Got in my car, drove to game stop, and bought it. Have been playing my paladin ever since.
Cheers,
Hat

Mid to late Vanilla.
I had Dial-up and an old computer when I started, so leveling was incredibly painful. Never got to raid either, which is good, because I would have d/ced every five minutes.

Played from BC to Cata, and I must say WotlK was simply the most enjoyable. (imo)

Played since release, leveled a Holy Priest to 60. I was a glutton for punishment.

Oh yeah, I levelled as disc until 63 (not really comparable to Vanilla levelling though). I'm actually sad that I switched to shadow because 63 seems so arbitrary, but I figured I may as well stick with it because I already put talent points into wand damage.
