Diet Pepsi. Regular coke. I don't drink sugar pop, though...but if I did, I would drink coke. I just prefer diet Pepsi a lot for diet drinks.

Diet Coke. Nothing regular- too much sugar. I can almost feel the sugar coating my teeth when I drink regular soda- yuck.

Question #29:
Coke or Pepsi?
Neither. I hardly ever drink soda anymore. Every once in awhile I'll have maybe a lemonade or a Root Beer but I would much rather prefer water or something like Vitamin Water.

Coke > Pepsi, but I only drink coke rarely anyway. And refrigerated coke is pretty vile. For me, all fizzy drinks need to be at an ambient room temperature and then you add ice. So much better than just cold coke.

I'm not sure where in that passage the flaw is in the study - which section are you referring to?
Oops, I remember reading it on snopes so assumed that article would have the info, but basically they taste tested the two drinks (with sips) and came to the conclusion that Pepsi was better because it was sweeter. They made New Coke much sweeter and it came out on top, but it was sickly sweet to consume a whole can.
Yeah, I know - that was what I was saying - New Coke was tested to be sweeter than Pepsi.

Ok Freeway cola, cheap as hell and tastes better than all.

Yarr, wasn't contradicting that, just wanted to throw the snopes article out there

Ah, yeah. I remember listening to a BBC article interviewing one of the senior C-level officers at the time of the botch-up, years after the event, and they swore that it was an honest blunder, not a stroke of marketing brilliance like all the cynics were suggesting.

Water. Both of them are horrible for your health. Why not just ask Marlboro or Camel? Ok ok, not THAT bad, but still...

I prefer Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi upsets my stomach nowadays. Before I became a Diabetic I liked Pepsi more than Coke but I prefer Diet Coke over Diet Pepsi. I can't drink Coke Zero or Pepsi Max, they just taste nasty to me.
And I prefer to add vanilla flavoring to my soda. Its so good.

Question #29:
Coke or Pepsi?
Dr. Pepper > Coke > Pepsi
So I guess you could say that my favorite drink is a Pepsi drink, but I enjoy most coke products, including coke itself, more than Pepsi.

Dr.Pepper isn't part of either, rather it is its own company (with 7-up). But both Pepsi and Coca-Cola companys bottle some of the product.

O_o
I was under the impression that Dr. Pepper was a Pepsi product. My bad.

I can tell the difference, but it's not strong enough for me to care. What matters much more is other factors, like whether it comes in a glass or plastic/foam cup.
Although, Mexican Coke made with real cane sugar is better than any Pepsi I've ever had.
That said, I've pretty much completely given up drinking soda in order to not be fat. I'm not one of those people blessed with a body which can consume endlessly and never put on weight.
