Vivias Blindhawk
Hellfire
TBC
Vivias Blindhawk-better known as Vivi-crouched on the edge of the cliff. She watched the demons go about their work on one of their many teleporters spread throughout Outland. He right hand gripped the ledge; the other arm missing at the shoulder. Despite that, she had two, simple warglaives that crossed her back to form an 'X'.
She was dressed much more modestly then one of the far more well-known Illidari Demon Hunters. A dark grey dress covered most of her form, designs and accents decorated it. The left sleeve hung limp without an arm to go through it; flapping in the wind when it blew. A black blindfold covered her empty sockets; magic being her form of sight. On her feet were simple, yet durable, sandals.
In terms of her actual appearance, the girl was fairly average and unremarkable; light skin, dark purple hair, noticeably on the short side and with a temper to match...
Vivi braced herself, leaping from her perch and drawing on of her blades. She landed gracefully for herself, less-so for the felguard she was stabbing in the throat. She did a front flip, tearing the head off the demon and turning as others charged.
She bit her lower lip, keeping herself from uttering something undeniable foul-tempered. Gripping her blade, she rushed forward; slicing the demons apart as she made a beeline for the teleporter.

"'tis all fine and dandy, but I say we go and discuss it over a nice steaming bowl of stew," Katsuro suggested.
"Not that a bunch of thug understudies like those can make me hungry," he added with just a slight overture of smugness in his voice, "But you look like you've run all the way here from Orgrimmar on foot," he told Tesla.

Characters:
Timothy Vrote
, Twilight's Hammer Clan
Location: Twilight's Hammer Encampment, Silithus
Era: Classic
Timothy had reacted too slowly. The moment she hissed he had swung, but she had vanished too quickly. He looked down at the glass, truely only a being with the power of an Old God behind it could do this.
He looked at the Hammer around him, who were just staring in awe. "Don't just stand there like a mountain of imbaciles!" he shouted. "Spread out and find her!"
Characters:
Curho Demoneye
,
Lak’tuk Demoneye
Location: Shadow Hold, Felwood
Era: Classic
"Father," Lak'tuk said, skipping merily up to Curho and hugging him.
"Hello, Lak'tuk," Curho replied as he continued to pour over a text of his own.
"Father, is what your having the human do and what your working on in the main chamber part of the same project?" she asked.
Curho shook his head. "No." He paused his reading. "Why? Has the human reached some clarification about the grimorie?"
"He read me a sentence from it," Lak'tuk answered.
Curho smiled and knealt down to kiss his daughter's forehead before standing back up and walking towards the surface. Lak'tuk followed, eager to see what would happen.
((Decided to have the plot start just before Curho was informed of the grimorie's context, for sake of any third parties reading understanding.))
Character:
Marissa "Talah" Blackswallow
Location: Lower City, Shatarath City
Era: The Burning Crusade
Talah pondered over the suggestion. It sounded fair enough, but she could think of two problems: the first was she had a reputation to uphold, the second was she did not even know who her employer really was. All she had gotten on the note were a set of initials "T.A.V.". And could she even trust this dwarf?
It just seemed safer to play it safe. "Look, I don't know what your talking about. Now leave me alone or I will call for a Peacekeeper to make you leave me alone." Hopefully it wouldn't come to that, getting the Peacekeepers involved this early would just make problems for her.
Character: Cedric Lighteye
Location: Stair of Destiny, Hellfire Peninsula
Era: The Burning Crusade
Race: Blood Elf
Class: Priest
Description:
Second oldest son of the influential and wealthy Lighteye aristocratic family, Cedric has never lived outside of Eversong woods, even during the Scourge invasion he and his family, along with a handful of other survivors, had only pulled back as far as the Eastern Coast of Eversong. When Silvermoon was returned to power, the Lighteye's regained their status as well and were instrumental in financing the reconstruction of the city. With that progress well under way, Cedric has traveled with a group of blood elf pilgrims to Outland to see what this "better future" Prince Kael'thas promised them would be, and also to make sure his eldest Sister, Gloria, is alright.
So far, Cedric was not impressed. The land on the Azeroth side of the portal was decimated, scarred and hidious, that was the first sign that not all was well. Still, he had held onto the hope that, maybe, on the Outland side of the portal it was the paradise so many belived it to be.
It was not.
He let the rest of the caravan carry his good does the stairs, seeing the battle between the demons and the forces of the Horde working with the Alliance... wait. With the Alliance? What madness is this? Bah, it did not matter, all he needed to do was get as far as the first settlement established by Kael'thas and he could be rid of both in favor of the company of his blood elven kin. Still, as they would have to travel the long way around the demonic forces, that would take time.
He breathed adn exasperated sigh.

Vrem Dartskul

Morec, House of Rivendare
,
Sithia Frozenbone
Location: Dalaran
Era: Wrath of the Lich King
"Wizards of Dalaran, hear me!" Morec shouted. "You all owe me three months back rent!"
"Morec, stop fooling around," Sithia said as she descended the stairs from Krassus' Rest. Vrem followed next to her, Marrow as his side and Rottalon on his shoulder.
"Just joking around, honey," Morec replied with a chuckle, hurrying to catch up with both of them.
Character:
Morec, House of Rivendare
,
Ebony Gang
(
Ebon
)
Location: Ebony Gang Headquarters
Era: Cataclysm
"Percisely," Ebon nodded. "I trust you will have no problems with this arrangement, Mister Rivendare."
Morec glared at both Kish adn Ebon for three minutes, remaining completely silent except for a low growl. Then he broke into a massive smile and said; "nope! Just get my aquaitances here A.S.A.P, please."
Ebon beckoned one of the guards over and handed him the list. The gangster noddded and walked away. "They'll be found and brought here immediately," Ebon repiled. "Is there anything either of you require in the meantime?"
Morec placed a hand on his chin and he thought. Was there?
Character:
Blaine Jeret
Location: Darkshore
Era: Cataclysm
A caravan with supplies for the Alliance settlements in Ashenvale had set out before Blaine had arrived in Darkshore, but a few hours riding caught him up with them fast enough. On the Captain of the Guards orders he had been allowed to travel with them, but only so far as the first settlement. Still that was fairly deep in Ashenvale and would be a fine enough spot to begin his search.

"Have you made any progress in deciphering the text?" Curho asked, stopping three feet away from the human. The pressence of the felhound warrented caution, but he also knew the human was likely not stupid enough to try and kill him. Unless he had found something of great value in that book.

"I think I got the general concept, yes. Not without bad news, sadly, looks like you'll need two more books to finish the design - and I'll be a gan'arg's uncle but this is something grand," the human flashed a toothy grin, giving Curho a wink with his mischievous amber eye. The white one, on the other hand, was as usual cold and calculating, its piercing stare never leaving the orc.

"Well, this," Meyer held up the grimoire, "Describes a ritual that frankly astonishes me - and I've seen a lot already. If you make someone undergo the whole thing, they will emerge significantly more attuned to the fel and be able to tap into it almost instinctively, and with much less consequences for the body, while retaining their original mind fully.
Only there's more bad news, sadly. And I'm not even talking about the humongous cost, you and I have certain hanging bits that... Let's just say that the word 'vaporized' comes to mind. Oh, and the older the target is, the more the risks of the spell backfiring horribly."

Curho took the book in his hands as he looked over the runes himself. "Most interesting indeed," Curho replied. "Anything else or is that as far as you've deciphered?" Lak'tuk stood by, not sure what Meyer had meant by anything he said.

"You'll require a thorium sarcophagus for the... mmm, subject, for lack of a better word. See appendix 𝔔 for blueprints. It kinda sorta has to fit like a glove if you wanna minimize the risk. Oh, and there's a crapton of little failsafe spells needed to be maintained, you know how it is.
Oh! And the rest of the ritual is described in two more tomes, one of them supposedly beneath the Swamp of Sorrows, the other not far from here, in Winterspring."

Curho nodded. "Your assistance is most appreciated," he said, taking a closer look at the book and flipping through to the appendix to look at the blueprints. "I'll show these prints to those capable of constructing the sarcophogus."
Finding thorium would be difficult. There had been the occasional node found here in Felwood, but those were rarer then an ogre bathing. The quickest way would be to import them for Winterspring, but that went right through Cenarion teritory, making it far too likely to draw the Circle's attention. If their supply routes had not been cut off they could simply have other warlocks ship the items to them alongside the other goods, but alas their trade with the other Legionarries had been cut off for some time and that showed no signs of changing on its own. That would mean they would have to open the supply lines by force.
Then again, did they have the numbers to do so? Maybe, maybe not, but with his other project in process he could not risk that much. He would see what he could do about the supply lines then, if all else failed, use Winterspring as the place to gather the throium. "Does it metion where in Winterspring or the Swamps they are? Or does it avoid any specifics?"
Lak'tuk continued to stand and listen.

Curho scowled. Wonderful, just wonderful. The blues in Winterspring would be fine, he would only have to deal with them, it was the greens in the swamp he was worried about. They had ties to the Circle, and would surely warn the druids as soon as a move was made to claim the text. "You have done well," Curho said, turning and walking away. Lak'tuk followed after her father.
"I will do what I can to retrive the other grimories," the warlock continued, "in the meantime you are to stay within the Shadow Hold." He motioned to a group of cultists who moved to escort Meyer to his new chambers. Curho would take no risks in his sole translator fleeing or getting killed.

Vivias
Hellfire
TBC
Vivi cut down the last guardian, although more were sure to come. She set her warglaive on her back once more, stepping over to the demonic machine. Waving her hand over the control panel, she watched as the combination she needed lit up in her sight of colors and magics.
Punching the self destruct command in, she nodded before sprinting away.
