Lor'Themar lacks the popularity, he's most likely going to fail with his isle of thunder stunt (Face it, it'll end with one side breaking all the artifacts). Although if it goes through, he does have a chance.
I've seen the ending of the whole thing on the PTR:
he wins. he and jaina actually reach a quasi-truce once the final stage of the island is unlocked, since Jaina remarks to Theron that as long as Garrosh is warchief, there will NEVER be peace between the alliance and horde, Lor'themar repplies that THAT is exactly the reason he wishes to preserve his strength, and not waste it against her forces. Jaina softens her hardline stance considerably after hearing that, and both leaders depart after bowing to each other.
As for the artifacts in the Throne of Thunder, both sides get their spoils. Jaina gets to charge her staff with the small remnant of Lei Shen's power, and Lor'themar Charges an arcane crystal with the raw essence of the Animus, Lei Shen's secret weapon.
As for lacking the popularity, his popularity amongst fans has skyrocketed since 5.1, and his popularity among the horde is actually quite high. Barring the orcs, he's had good relations with just about everyone on the horde.

So jaina's character doesn't develop at all.
Great.

Just so we're clear, Jaina's Character died in tides of war. Everything she was, everything she was loved for, every essence of her character. Sniffed away in a single moment. What you have right now is Sylvannas 2.0 PRETENDING to be Jaina.
Nothing more, nothing less. The only good development she can have now, is a sword through her neck.

Personally, I disagree, She's gone a long time, and she's finally moved on from wanting peace. Sometimes, there's a line they crossed. She did the right thing, and really, right now, she's doing good. If she'd stop being pushed back into her old role and actually evolve as a character and change. instead of just going back. That's real character development.
I'd rather have lor'themar's goddamn head on a stake. He lost all rights to claim innocence for the destruction of theramoore when he started usiing small scale manabombs.

Uhuh. Going from the best diplomat in the world, to a dictator in her own city, leading a lynch mob to target an ethnic minority, holding an entire civilian population hostage for no reason, and executing civilians in the streets for daring to refuse to be illegally jailed. That's some good development right there.
/sarcasm.

Right, except that
your side uses them too.
By your logic, Jaina's goddamn head also belongs on a stake. She lost all right to b1tch and whine about theramoore when she started using mana bombs too.

Read my post on that quest for my views on it.
Anyhow, i don't see how stopping treason, moving in to stop a neigh omnicidal tyrant and powerhungry lunatic from using ancient artifacts to doom the world and wining a civil war is wrong

So why put the 'and' in there? With that, sounds like you were talking about two different people.

/facepalm.
So............ if some guy breaks into your house and rapes your mother, you're TOTALLY entitled to track him down, go to this house and rape HIS mother, and that is absolutely fine, nobody has any right to judge you because, hey, that's poetic justice.......
I said it once, and I'll say it again, there's something fundamentally wrong with the logic you employ.
Just because an enemy used an amoral weapon DOES NOT justifies YOU using that same weapon. And FYI:
your own king agrees with me.
(When learning that garrosh is harnessing Sha onto his troops, and the alliance captures some living Sha themselves, this happens)
Rogers says: Your Highness, we should study it. Weaponize it!
The Horde already outnumber us here on Pandaria. We need to gain every possible advantage.
Brann says: I couldn't hurt to study it. 'Tho I don't much care for eh way it's lookin' at me.
Overspark says: Yes, yes! Very interesting! Perhaps I could distill it into a new power source?
Rogers says:
Garrosh is using every weapon he can lay his hands on. Shouldn't we level the playing field?
(this right here, is Jaina logic. Platypus logic. FLAWED LOGIC)
Varian says: What do you think, Anduin?
Anduin says: Garrosh's example is not one that I care to follow. The Alliance should make its own decisions. The RIGHT decisions.
Anduin says:
It is true, it may be possible to someday harness the sha into a weapon. But we risk destroying our own people in the process. That is not a price I am willing to pay.
Varian says: Well said, my son.
Varian says: This power is too dangerous. I will have none of it!
Moving on.....
Anyhow,
i don't see how stopping treason
And who is the traitor? are we going back to this? THE SUNREAVERS ARE INNOCENT, they weren't involved in any way with the theft, SHE is the one who betrayed them.
Giranna the Blooded (She used to be a questgiver in the argent tournament) said it best:
"
I swore an oath to the Kirin Tor, that bond was one of trust, and mutual understanding. And then they betrayed that bond. Its time to remind them that blood elves do not suffer betrayal lightly.
"
moving in to stop a neigh omnicidal tyrant and powerhungry lunatic from using ancient artifacts to doom the world
Except that the one doing that is the horde, NOT the alliance. Lor'themar's reason for being in the island, asides from stopping the mogu menace is presicely to stop garrosh from getting another potential WMD. Jaina however is only hampering that effort, by acting like a complete idiot.
when Tharan Zu scolds her and Lor'themar for fighting each other, she has the balls to say that the horde has undermined every attempt at peace. what? since when did her brain left her body? Theramoore peace summit: Who undermined the peace? Twilight hammer attacked, Varian blamed the horde, attacked the warchief, and left after raging like a man child. Violet Summit: Who taunted the other side to attack? Varian did. Ashenvale meeting of peace between the druids: Who undermined the peace there? Twilight Hammer.
and wining a civil war is wrong
You may call it civil war if it makes you feel better, but the purge of dalaran was nothing more than Murder. An ethnic minority was lynched by an angry mob, FOR NO REASON AT ALL.

ohh so now "I" am the one not seeing reason.
After me, and about 6 other users have linked you several quests and quotes of the game that confirm the sunreaver innocence in the theft of the divine bell yet you still call them backstabbing traitors, turns out "I" am the one being unreasonable.
tsk tsk tsk.
That's pathetic.

I hope to the Naaru you can actually read this

I already read it.
There the point that no one in azeroth's got this god-vision the players have.
It's a pretty common mistake.
However, with what jaina knew which was.
A: The sunreavers have aided the horde before
B: A sunreaver sabotaged Theramoore's defenses
C: Aethas either did not know or did not care about Thalen's Loyalties.
D: Someone aided the horde, via access of kirin tor resources, to steal the divine bell
E: The Sunreavers had access to Kirin Tor Resources.
F: You could practically hear aethas smirking, that's not really good for sounding innocent.

it doesn't matter what jaina knows or doesn't know,
YOU
know the sunreavers are innocent, yet all you show is pure scorching hatred for them, calling them backstabbing traitors, just because the bitter truth that your faction did something despicable is more than you can handle.
The truth stings doesn't it?

I know that there's no proof.
However, no one actually said they were all innocent.
Plus, they were perfectly complicit with everything up to that point involving the horde.
And of course, those muderous bastards razed theramoore, the
GODAMN LAST REMAINING PEOPLE OF LORADERON WERE THERE. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?
