Are you satisfied with Cataclysm?

Hello guys!
In a lot of threads here on Wowhead (particularly in Wow General), it appears that most people are dissatisfied with Cataclysm. If it's not class homogenization, it's overuse of pop references. If it's not that, it's the questing experience being too streamlined. And if not
that
, then it's something else. More often than not, people are unanimous in that Cataclysm is the worst expansion yet.
It seems that in almost every thread that concerns a major aspect of the game, people march in with arguments on why the game is dying and is terrible.
Granted, many are well-constructed and valid arguments.
But as for the question; are
you
satisfied with World of Warcraft: Cataclysm? Is it great? Could things have been done better? Or is it terrible, plain and simple?

I don't really like it that much because everyone is too scared to pug anything other then BH. Even though t11 has been nerfed to the ground people's ILvl requirements went up before 4.2 I saw people requiring 350ish now they require 365ish.

I am, the new talent tree system works really well. Getting spells like Penance and Bloodthirst at level 10 is really neat and better than ever before. You don't have to get to level 40 to feel like a Paladin.
The new contents are great. The new areas are great. The 5 mans are great, but repetitive*.
The new water is good. New quest zones/items are great.
So essentially I am happy with Cataclysm. Am I happy with WoW as a whole? No.
It's too much of a grind and Zandalari's are repetitive, boring and you can't even faceroll them because they require concentration. That's the worst kind of grind, boring and hard.
If Cataclysm is an indication of future expansions, I believe things will go well. Should Blizzard update old models etc I'll happily keep playing. But as for now, it's the things that have been around since forever that are bothering me.
Oh, one thing that does piss me off is reusing content. I don't want my level 30 and level 50 gear to look the same. The new quests had like 2 or 3 new models each at max and getting the same one was unavoidable unless you had heirlooms.
I plan to let my subscription run out in October.
WoW is a good game, I'm just getting bored with it

I'd probably go with "a bit" for the reason they should add content that is available for everyone, is persistent, and is something pretty fresh, new, and unlikely to "spoil" or "go stale."

Cataclysm promised a whole lot and didn't deliver, in my opinion. And, where it
did
deliver, it then reneged on this delivery by the repeated wearing down of the CMs to the point where Blizzard caved in to Wrath-pressure -- such that their earlier strong stances of "Guess what? This stuff is hard" now looks absolutely laughable in hindsight.
It's the very clear product of a B-team. All the experimentation that went on during Wrath had the potential to produce a third expansion with a consistent philosophy throughout the raiding tiers -- which was promised to us. It was a chance to use the knowledge gained from the praise of TBC and the results of experimentation within Wrath's constantly changing gameplay mechanics to create Vanilla 2.0 -- with none of the flaws and all of the good bits. But behind this overarching philosophy was lost the key ideas of class balance and diversity, and on key issues Blizzard has closed their eyes and ears to criticism, while in other areas being far too open to criticism and taking it on board far too much.
They listened to all the wrong people, and ignored that smaller subset of very right ones. I am thoroughly disappointed.

Leveling alts is a lot of fun; the new talent system works, and the revamped zones are pretty well done. Flying in old world is wonderful. I loved Mt. Hyjal (well, not the part with infiltrating the cultists, but apart from that, great), and enjoy the dailies there. Archaeology is interesting and rewarding, if grindy. Lots of little things (cut gems stacking, dailies from level 10, and their bonus to proffs, e.g.) work for me.
Endgame seems a mite... lacking. I haven't raided at all this expansion, and don't spend much time running heroics. The world has gotten less grand with flight everywhere. There seems to be less cool & serious story and backfground, and more shoutouts to popular culture. I could do with more orginal Warcraft content and less seemingly desperate hooks to hang plot and characters on.
I voted 'A bit'.

I was not satisfied. Not for any one particular thing, but after three rounds of 80-85 questing, a month of dungeon farming, and farming my pvp set (whatever the top set was at the beginning of Cataclysm, I don't remember =P), I felt like there was nothing left to do that I was interested in. I think what really kept me playing before was the the fact that I had not discovered the whole world yet. Now that I've gone and done everything, I feel like a need a whole new game world to explore.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly.
Actually, heck, they need to give us content that isn't raiding/PvP. It gets old fast, especially the raiding part.

I only voted a bit, because I'm getting sick of it, but to be honest I can't really understand why.
I could say I'm tired of grinding the same dungeons for gear over and over, but I've always had to do that.
I could say I'm tired of playing world of queuecraft, but you get into dungeons faster and there's a lot less tedious afking while flying all over the map, so it seems like an improvement.
I could say the pug scene is pretty dead, but even in 3.3 most pugs went 4/12 and then bickered until they fell apart, so there wasn't much of one before, either.
I could say classes are too homogenized, but I don't care at all about PvP and it really doesn't bother me that I can spend less time worrying about raid comp, so even if some classes feel somewhat similar it really doesn't affect me.
I could talk about a less immersive world, with all of the instant teleports to dungeons and questing with flying mounts, but I never really cared about that to begin with.
So, I'm really not sure why I've gotten completely sick of WoW and am planning on cancelling my subscription again. I can't think of many criticisms I have which are unique to Cata.

TBC was absolutely awesome
WOTLK was great
Vanilla was good
Cataclysm is decent, but in comparison to the other versions it is behind. Compared to TBC its downright awful.

lets just say..i can't wait for the next expansion. whens the release date for it? i wonder if they've even started developing it? lets just forget about cata and move on..i love wow but this cata just seems like a b team effort...ouh ouh...transmortification and void storage...mhmm..i'm really gonna pay to store my own stuff when i have numerous bank alts and a few disbanded guild bank vaults to myself. whatever happened to path of the titans they promised us?bring on the next expansion and lets flush cata. kotor is being released in october...do you thing patch 4.3 and deathwing can compete?
To be fair, WoW will likely not just compete, it will "win". I don't really see why it has to be a competition though.

Quite satisfied since the leveling got a kick in the nuts it's needed for years.

Best part of WoW IMO. TBC is mostly boring, Lich King is slow, classic is at times bland, Cata is fun quests, nicely designed dungeons.
Only minor gripe is that it's a bit small, would have liked there to be more areas, more things to do, have the level cap go up to 90 or 95 instead of 85. Which would also mean there's more to do in between releases, so people don't get bored with the expansion (as seems to be the case, mostly people who've rushed all their toons to 85 within 1-2 days of cata being released and now are sitting around sw complaining that there's nothing to do).
