Phillip Iceheart
Stormwind
Phillip is a human male of Dalaran descent, around age 23. He has light skin and long blonde hair to match light blue eyes. He is a battle mage currently aligned with Stormwind, and previously with Lordarean. He fled shortly after the attempt on his king's life though, becomming a part of the Stormwind army in hopes of avenging his lost home. He wears shining silver armor.
The inn's basement was somewhat cramped, large barrels of liquid and supplies taking up most of the space.
The mage sat in the back corner, a candle offering him light to read by as he studied the books. He was positive he would be killed if caught with the literature of the horde, despite the spectacular amount of information they contained. Most were on more warlock magics, but they did span to other realms than fel and shadow.
One caught his eyes and compelled him to work on translating the orcish onto a seperate paper.
Necromancy beyond anything he was used to. Was this how the death knights had been created? "Fascinating... I must know more..." He said, slowly putting his other four orcish tomes into his pack, in case an unexpected visitor found him.
He had recovered the books in battles against the horde, finding them on three different horde spellcasters. He had cept them hidden, slowly working on translating them.

Arathi Highlands
Tae closed his eyes for a moment then shrugged. "It's just a difference between us..and sadly, a lot of humans and elves use pointy and round ears as an insult. When Dennis and I say it to each other, we don't mean it, but others...." He trailed off, and stared at nothing. He shook his head and looked back at the boy. "And if you promised it to your father, then that is the main reason to do it. Promises are very important to a magi."

Character:
Doctor Victor Konovalov
Location:
Hillsbrad Foothills
After a somewhat awkward conversation at the wall Victor was eventually admitted into the Ararthi Highlands, though not without more than a few curious looks at his hand which he naturally tried to discretely hide. Plodding down the road once more, he looked skyward at the slow pace that the sun moved towards setting with a scowl.
"Hy hate hyu." He muttered.
The sun did not grace him with a reply.

"No, I'm the only child of the Firebloom family at the moment. I have a few cousins that are magi, and a few others who have followed the Light." Tae'sash answered and grinned. "Yes, Dennis is a good friend...though he'll never admit that to anyone's face. He's a very proud Gilnean." Tae said with a fond smile at the sleeping form of his friend. "What about you Mel, do you have any siblings?"

Was?
Tae'sash thought about that, and decided to steer the conversation away from that. "Your sister is a magi as well? That is interesting." Tae said with a small smile. "And yes, Dennis can be hard to understand; but once you get to know him, you know his bark is far worse then his bite..well most of the time." Tae laughed a little.

"Not any harder then any other job. She was vicious, but she was hurt as well." Tae'sash said, and held up his hands and created a smaller version of his net spell between his hands. "We mainly use this on those we hunt; it's a simple way to keep them being hurt while we capture them. As they are worth far more money alive then dead after all." He said, and grinned again. "Well, Dennis seems scary to a lot of people. And your sister taught you that moth spell? Interesting."

"We sealed her wounds up." Tae'sash said and shrugged. "The market people will do any deeper healing that is needed." He noticed Mel's look. "Don't feel too badly for them; the orcs invaded our world, destroyed Stormwind, and tried to wipe us all out....just our luck that the hero of the Second War was also the villain who took over Lordaeron." He shook his head. "I've seen what the orcs have done to villages before Mel; when they are attacking, they are like animals."
"As for Dennis; he never means to scare anyone...but it's just the way he is. He can't really help it; there's always been something wolfish about him." Tae grinned a little. "Well, I'm sure you can be just as creative as your sister is, if you tried."

He didn't understand what the elf said but he knew he had to end this. So in one swift movement he threw out a flash bang grenade and dove on top of the girl as it exploded, blocking her and himself from the flash. He then readied a device that was still in testing phase and threw it down. It quickly created a small dome of anti-magic energy. He picked the girl up and dashed off through the hole the device had created and turned a was off to try and evade this enemy.

"Wasn't fate, it was Blackmoore; that bastard can charm a succubus into his bed." Dennis spoke up suddenly, and he raised his head. "Maybe there is something more to the Orcs, but I don't think we'll ever see them; only one I've ever seen is that black jawed one that leads the Warsong clan." He shuddered a little. "I was part of a group of hunters a few months ago; 40 wagons worth of orc females and children. That black jawed orc lead his clan against us, and that scream he could do and the sound from his axe was just mind numbing...." Dennis trailed off for a moment, then shook his head. "Tae, myself and a few others survived that attack. It was brutal and vicious...but I guess I can't blame them for attacking us; we had orc kids after all."
"It was a tough battle." Tae'sash agreed then shrugged, chasing away the bad memories. "As for what Stromguarde is like, yes it isn't as large as Dalaran or as mystical, but it's still a beautiful city. The Trollbanes were one of the first to stand against Blackmoore, and I've heard rumours that King Thoras and Blackmoore actually battled in front of the Wall to a draw, before wounds forced them both to withdraw." Tae said, and pulled out a pair of small bags from his pouches and tossed one to Dennis then the other to Mel. "Eat up."

"If he's called Hellscream, then it does match that battle cry of his." Dennis murmured as he ate some of the trail food that Tae had passed him. "As for what it is, it's Elvish travel rations; far superior to the human stuff....or so Tae says." He chuckled at the look the Elf shot him. "I think what Tae is trying to say is we'll just ride most of the night rather then stop for a real dinner." Dennis laughed as he relaxed back in his saddle. "Yes that's about it." Tae agreed as he pulled out a small bag for himself to snack on.

"Aye, just stretch out on the bench there. If you fall off, we'll stop and let you get back on." Dennis said with a laugh. He looked over at Tae who shrugged. "I'll keep watch if you want to catch some more rest Hendricks." He offered and the human nodded as he relaxed further, hooking his thumbs back into his belt and letting his head drop down. The Elf chuckled to himself as he murmured and made a few motions with his hands, creating glowing balls of light that he sent up near the horses heads to let them see and sent a few to perch on the corners of the wagon; it would light them to anyone looking for them, but he'd rather not have the horses stumble in the dark and go lame.

Tae grinned a little and murmured a word to his steed, and the horse moved forward to the front of the group again. The High Elf considered for a moment, then held out his hands and caused arcane like strings to appear between his palms. Nodding, he blew gently on them, causing a low music tone to start playing. He smiled to himself as he as he relaxed a little, just letting his mind create the music that the spell played.
