Sparkbolt
Character: Richard/Sparkbolt/Grindgear/Sasha
Location: Wetlands
"It won't be much longer till we reach the Loch." Grindgear said as they started to see the entrance in the distance. As he got closer he pulled the mechostriders to a stop as he noticed a couple overturned wagons in the way. "What the? Sparkbolt!" He yelled causing the Steamwarrior to move his machine forward intent on moving the wagons. "Get that junk out of the way." Grindgear said and ducked as a bullet flew by his head towards the carts causing Sasha to scream. "What is wrong with you boy?" The old gnome yelled back at Richard but the human pointed back to the carts a where a dead gnoll was hiding behind the carts. Grindgear swore as more of the gnolls jumped out of the tall grass and behind the cart and charged the group.

Dennis Hendricks, Tae'sash Firebloom
Hillsbrad Foothills/Arathi Highlands
"Well that's good." Dennis murmured as they approached the main gate in the Wall. He slowed the horses and held out a hand to the guard on duty. "Captain! Good to see you again!" Dennis laughed and the guard, a member of the Stromguarde forces, laughed back.
"Welcome back Hunter Hendricks, Magus Firebloom....and who is that?" The Captain asked, pointing at Mel. "A traveler we picked up on the way through Hillsbrad. We've got us a good catch this time; a female orc." Dennis told him and the Captain whistled. "Good timing Hendricks; I've heard that there are 6 buyers looking for a breeder for their champion fighters." The Captain said and Dennis grinned widely.
"Excellent." He said as the group was waved through the gate. Tae'sash sighed and shook his head. "I know that look...how much trouble are we going to be in now?" Tae asked and Dennis just kept grinning at his partner, then looked back at Mel. "Alright kid, we're off to Stromguarde; you sticking around or do you want to make your way on foot through the Highlands?" He asked.

Emerald Dream
The drake looked at the druid, who had yet to move. She stepped forward with worry, slowly noticing that his hand had come to rest on the corruption's veins.
'Druid!'
She yelled, starting to rush forward. Her front claw landed on the veins that had sorrounded her though; spiking through her mind and tearing the dragonkin's sanity apart.
The druid stared, he was no longer who he had been... he was something new. He was Karath...
'it'
. The voice tangled within his mind, gripping him and enslaving him.
Thou art mine.
Thou shall serve.
Now, awaken...
The druid nodded, the dream fading away as his eyes fluttered.
The night elf sat up, staring around at the world he had left so long ago.

"I don't have a problem with it." Dennis said and relaxed back in his saddle, hooking his thumbs into his belt and closing his eyes. Tae shook his head. "Yeah, I know why you want him to come; so that I have someone other then you to talk magic about." The mage laughed as he slowed his steed to walk alongside the wagon. "He seems vicious, but Dennis is really a softy at heart." Tae told Mel with a wink. "So, what aspect of magic are you strong in anyways?"

"Interesting." Tae'sash said looking at the sword and closed his eyes a little, calling up his other Sight to have a better look at it. "Did you forge that blade or did your master do it for you?" He asked, interested in the blade. "It almost seems like it's tied to your magic somehow."

Karath
Hyjal
Karath felt the dragon awaken, he thought it strange for a moment. Then the voice explained.
Thou art my weapon, not her.
Consider she a gift, a servent.
Call her...
The night elf raised his hand, and could feel the green drake take flight, she began to make her way to him.
Thine world hath changed.
Many differences thou shall surely see.
But none that shalt halt the Hour.
Karath nodded as the green drake laded nearby. He turned and stood.
The dragonkin's mind had been broken, she bowed silently; devoted to Karath. She was his weapon, his shield, his lover, his mount. Whatever he needed her to be, she shall. He scales had darkened in hue, and those were sure to only be the first of changes.
'Thero'
The druid stated, naming the drake; student. The drake nodded, still offering him her back.
Go thee to the east with her,
Carry out the mine will.
The druid nodded, climbing atop the green drake. She caw'd in excitment, flapping her wings and slowly ascending.

Dennis grunted in his sleep, but didn't awake.
"Ah, that explains it; familial bonds." Tae'sash said with a smile. He took pity on the look of confusion on Mel's face. "It means, that sometimes, when an object, such as your sword, is held by a family for a very long time, it becomes attuned to them." He told him and absently patted a locket at his throat.

"To a point." Tae'sash said and reached under his cloak, pulling out an old crystal locket. "According to family legends, the first Firebloom brought this piece of the old palace of the Elves with him when he and the other Highborne were exiled from the homeland." Tae said, a slight smile on his face. "I don't know if it's true or not, but it's a good story."
He looked over at his partner with a fond smile. "Oh he's asleep; Dennis is good at that. I've seen him sleep on the back of a horse while a storm raged over our heads before. It helps that his mount is a quel'dori breed; that mare is a very gentle beast and the best match for him." He said, and patted the neck of his own steed, the horse making a low whicker sound.

"Not that strange." Tae'sash said and reached into his saddle bags, and pulled out a short blade made of elven steel. "As for what to do with it; learn how to use it as a weapon, and keep mixing it with your magic." He told Mel as he spoke a word, and his blade glowed with a faint arcane light. "After all, you should play to your strengths." He smiled at the boy.

Tae'sash chuckled and shrugged. "That is always the best way to think of a blade; as if it is part of you. And if it's heavy, that means you need to train more to strengthen yourself; after all, if you can't use the blade, there isn't a lot point to it eh?" He said with a raised eyebrow.
"And even now, I'm still training to be a magi; there are always new things to learn and new skills to master." He said with a grin and put on an act of seeming to think hard. "Well, I started my actual training when I was 10, or at least learning how to see magic and manipulate the energy; but now, a 115 years later, I still think there is far more I can learn and grow with." He said, and reached up to pull his hood off now that they were in the safer lands held by the Trollbanes.

"Only thing any of us can do." Tae'sash agreed and looked skyward, trying to figure out if they would reach Stromguarde castle before or after nightfall. "And you may not live that long Mel, but still, I know a few human master of the blades, even though they do have the short life of all of you round ears." He said the last with a grin to take the sting out of the words.
