Character:
Doctor Victor Konovalov
Location:
Hillsbrad Foothills
Description:
Originally a veterinarian in Lordaeron, he was 'volunteered' for Blackmoore's armies. When they discovered his penchant for medicine, the field apparently had not mattered, he was moved to the medical corps and, by his tendency to survive scrapes he sadly outlasted his peers thus becoming attached to more powerful personnel as their personal surgeon as time went by. In an attempt to be honorably discharged, Victor forced his hand beneath a cart, crushing it horribly beyond repair.
Sadly, this did not deter the general he was assigned to as Victor had saved the mans life several times from nearly mortal wounds. As such the general had Victor's hand replaced with a mechanical one built by a goblin technician. Realizing he was not likely to be discharged any time soon by the general, Victor soon fled. This would have been less of an issue for the general had Victor not been forced to tend some of the mans more 'personal medical problems' which, should the generals wife learn of, not end well for the high ranked military official. As such the general placed recapturing Victor a rather high (though private) priority.
Victor wears a black tail coated jacket with a similar coloured bowler hat. He has short cut black hair and a small mustache. The false hand has metal fingers like sharpened talons, for aid in surgeries.
Victor burst from the bushes by the road leading through the Hillsbrad Foothills, clawed hand holding his hat in place while the other held a large briefcase filled with medical tools and extra clothes he had managed to grab before his escape. Far behind him, he heard the telltale sounds of a whistle from one of the guards sent to retrieve him for the general.
"Hy don't vant to go back." He whimpered before running down the road as fast as he could, barely dodging around a cart manned by two humans and an elf. As he passed by he left several deep gouges in the cart from his clawed hand, the automatic reaction letting loose a loud squeal into the air.
"Ho no." Victor winced at the loud screech caused before resuming his flight, the voices of the Blackmoore soldiers growing louder.

Dennis Hendricks, Tae'sash Firebloom
Hillsbrad Foothills
"Son of a..." Dennis roared as he jerked on the reins of his mare trying to keep the wagon from crashing over. Tae'sash let loose a swear of his own, then turned his head to the rear. "We need to run; now. Loyalists are coming." Tae'sash said as he dropped the reins of his steed and murmured a command to the beast.
"Kid, keep your head down!" Dennis yelled back to Mal as he looked at the figure still fleeing. "Tae, how many?" He asked and the elf shook his head. "A lot." Tae'sash answered, his hands erupting with arcane energy. Dennis growled and dropped his hand to one of his belt pouches and withdrew a small piece of metal then threw it as hard as he could at the fleeing figure, aiming for back of one of his legs. "Brings down the fury on us and thinks he can run?"

Victor, on the process of running, suddenly felt smash into his leg, tripping him up and sending him crashing to the hard road heavily, suitcase flying away though his hat miraculously remained in place.
"Ow, mine nose!" Victor shouted in pain, a hand rising to massage the afflicted area. Sadly, he chose the wrong hand to do so with.
"Ow! Mine face!" He screeched, pulling the clawed hand away from his face as he tried to regain his footing.

Dennis Hendricks, Tae'sash Firebloom
Hillsbrad Foothills
"Are you ready?" Dennis asked Tae as he pulled his weapons free, his focus on the loyalists that had burst out onto the road behind them. "Always ready." Tae said and his hands snapped forward, arcane bursts of energy slicing outwards and cutting into the soldiers. Dennis let loose his battle roar as he leaped forward, both of his long blades flashing as he waded into the soldiers.
"Down!" Tae called, and Dennis dropped as another stream of arcane energy ripped through the area, taking another group of soldiers down. "Get ready to run as soon as we deal with the last of these." Dennis said, his blades scything around him as he struck at the soldiers, who were still surprised by the sudden appearance of two armed and ready to fight warriors.

Eventually managing to raise himself to his feet Victor immediately cast his eyes about for his suitcase. He gasped in horror when he spotted it, having sprung open on impact with the ground leaving several pieces of both clothing and vials of scarlet liquid lying on the raod.
"De materials!" Victor hissed in horror. Glancing back he, to his relief, saw the soldiers and drivers of the cart engaged in battle. Reasoning he had a few moments, the doctor immediately began gathering up the spilled contents of his suitcase as quickly as he could, though with only one hand usable for the task.

"Go." Dennis yelled as he dropped the last of the soldiers and ran for his mare, leaping into her saddle. Tae murmured one last spell and sent a blast of fire into the bodies of the soldiers as the group pounded off down the road. As they went past the man who was responsible for the loyalists finding them, Hendricks was tempted to have the wagon roll him...but he swerved aside and continued on the road towards Stromguarde. "Always a fun time with you Dennis." Tae'sash laughed as he moved his steed ahead of them, and Dennis shook his head.

He had actually gotten it right, which obviously made him her contact, though she didn't think she liked it. She'd need to get him somewhere private where she could get him the information without rousing anymore suspicion. "Uhm...sir," She said speaking to Talagant again. "Could you show me the way to the inn?"

Talagant would have snapped his pencil again had he been holding one. He raised his eyes from Sinera's rack to her face and nodded, "Of courthe. <Of course>"
He rose up without even a slightest hint of a stagger, showing that he probably was not all that drunk after all. Before Cassidy could say something, the mage drawled lazily, "I'll be right back... Maybe."

She let him put his arm around her shoulder. Though it sickened her to let it happen, she had to continue to play at the soft spoken and gently woman, and if need be, even act as this freaks fiance. "So, Cyrus?" She said straining to understand him.

"Yulema," Talagant drawled, acting as if he recognized the name. Whether or not he succeeded depended solely on her experience.
"Lookth like it ithn't three minuteth, after all. Who knew? <Looks like it isn't three minutes, after all. Who knew?>" He mused as they neared an inn.

She walked in and went up and ordered a room near the end of the hall and in a corner. She went back to him again. "Would you mind coming up to my room?" She said quietly, still in character.

She gave a shudder when she saw him do that, though she knew this was obviously some kind of character. So, as much as she didn't want to, she gently took his hands in hers and lead him upstairs to her room. Before closing the door she checked to see if anyone was out in the hall. She then shut the door and went to the walls near the other rooms to see if anyone was listening.
Then when she felt it all clear she spoke again. "That was the WORST persona I've ever seen." She said softly though anger was in her voice as she directed it at Talagant. "Now let's get down to business." She reached into her bosom and pulling out a small piece of paper. "Here's the information from the North. Make sure you get it to the kings." She said handing it gently to him. "Now....what is the news down here?" She asked taking a step back from Talagant.
