She's ambitious and cunning, like all Lannisters, but forced on the sidelines because of her gender. I believe there's a quote in AFFC about how Jaime and Cersei did everything together, before he got carted off to learn to be a ruler and fighter, whereas Cersei was taught to curtsey properly and look pretty.
That's actually a really interesting reading, just because of how it ties into House Lannister in general. Cersei is held back by her gender, Tyrion by his deformity, and I guess Jaimie then represents the perfect specimen to obtain such power, who doesn't want it? I like it.

The thing is though, when Cersei finally had complete power, she was the most inept ruler in the series. Saying her gender held her back was just the crutch that she used in her POV chapters.

"All men must die, but we are not men." was a great line, I'm thinking about getting it tattoo'd actually.
think on tattoos for a year, if you still want the tattoo then, then get it!

No, I'm sorry, that %^&* with the babies in jars was creepy. Stannis Baratheon would not let that ^&*! happen.
And I'm surprised to find myself saying this, but Brienne has a nice ass...
Also that was smart of the writers, building up the idea of Robb attacking Castely Rock, it's going to make the Red Wedding that much more tragic if we think he has a prayer of actually winning the war
LOL LITTLEFINGER YOU CRAFTY MOTHER!@#$ER! "Well that didn't take long."
Yes if anybody can't tell I'm typing this as I'm watching.
UGH CERSEI IS SO ANNOYINGLY SMUG IN THAT SCENE WITH TYRION AND TYWIN. I wish somebody would come in there and replace that condescending smile with a Heath Ledger Joker grin... At least Tywin took her down a notch. Heh, IIRC in the book he was considering marrying her to Balon Greyjoy...
Interesting, I don't think I ever heard Tywin reference the incest in the book series. I always wondered if he knew or not. "You've disgraced the Lannister name for far too long" seems to imply he knew.

It's the rumours he cares about, not if it actually happened

He knew about the rumors, but he never personally makes any mention of it, nor does anybody else in his presence. What I'm curious about is, did he know that the rumors were true? Saying that she disgraced the Lannister name implys that he did, because if it was just a rumor, how is she the one disgracing the name?
the red wedding is tragic because we all love the north, Robb and Cat can both go die for all the @#$% I give

This episode reminded me with the "all men must serve" lines about Rhollor. I don't like them linking the Faceless Men with the Red God. I got kind of annoyed last season when Jaqen
said he worshiped the Red God. The idea of worshiping death was one of my favorite things about the FM.
I don't want it to seem like I'm just complaining about everything, so I won't even mention the Brotherhood handing over Gendry to Melisandre.
Damn that thing with the fingers always bugged me, that was hard to watch :/
Ugh every time Robb or Cat (here after referred to as 'Ratlyn') opens one of their mouths, I want to grab both of their ears and slam their head against the table. They both @#$% the North out of a war by making one stupid decision after another, and then Edmure gets all the hate.

Tormund NEEEDS to say HAR and talk about his member
He did say HAR at one point, when he made the crack about Jon not screaming if he falls.

I had some fellow students (and the professor) in a creative writing class I took this semester compare a story I wrote to Game of Thrones. I mostly feel that is has to be because I featured a conflict between two families in a fantasy (light fantasy, a bit of magic but little besides that) setting (which, honestly, is that REALLY worth comparing it to Game of Thrones for?).
I've never seen an episode of or read a page of Game of Thrones in my life, though, so maybe I inadvertantly tapped into a similar writing style as what they use? I used a lot of tactical depictions and planning of how they would approach the events of the final battle during the climax, and talk of the management of the Empire the protagonist rules.
I'd post a sample here to give you a better idea of what it is I wrote, but I'm a BIT overprotective of the universe I'm crafting with this story. Still, based on what I've said, does it sound like I've tapped a little too much into something I honestly have next to no idea about?

I see why they make the red god and the faceless the same because I think they want to keep it as, non complicated as possible.
At first it annoyed me how the show did whatever it want but now I just view it as a different thing from the books and it makes more sense. Plus, it makes it more interesting to not know everything that happens.
Also I love theon being tortured, I hate his stupid face so much.
Yea I get why they did it. Still though, I wish this one thing they didn't change. I like the way the FM describe death, like the God of all religions. "He of Many Faces."
Also I hate to say it, but I did find Ramsay kind of, well, hilarious when he first started. "Oh sorry, were you sleeping?" But the finger thing still made me cringe.
