Also, I think that generally follows the rift concept from RIFT right?
I have no idea. I haven't/didn't play Rift. I was speaking of City of Heroes/Villains.
Their Task Forces were locked to the amount of people you started with, but regular missions could add/drop people at will, much like dungeons in WoW.
I've never tried, but can you invite more than 10 people into a 10 man raid without it bumping you to a 25?
What if I want to do BoT with 16 of my guild members and not have to pug 8 people to make a required 25 yet not get our rear ends handed to us on a smoking ring of fire?
If they could scale difficulty to X people in the raid I think it would be a great idea. When it comes to loot, let's say any group over 18 drops the higher tier gear.
I'm not a programmer. Frankly, the thought of trying to code something as complex as a 25 man raid makes my head want to explode so I don't know hoiw hard it would be for the system to check say.. level of Group Leader against Level of Dungeon and adjust HP/Damage/Healing accordingly, even if it were for say a 5 man group of level 85s going into Utgarde Pinnacle.
edit: typos
Yes you can have more than 10 players in the group for 10-man and more than 25 for 25-man. You cannot, however, have more than 10/25 players in the instance at any given time.

As a former raid leader, I support the solo content suggestion 100%. I'm tired of having to rely on stupid people in order to experience the end-game. Just give me an easier, but epic quest chain designed for one person, or a 5-man group. That's all I ask ...

Sweet work, but I wasn't finished reading it from your Hunter thread =S

This might make me look really dumb, but didn't they semi-fix twinking, by combining all of the XP-locked battlegroups.
I haven't played for some time so I'm not a 100% on this, though.

Trust me, it doesn't do much. There's just not enough exp-locked characters, even across every realm on a region, to make it possible for people to enjoy it.
My vote went to "Other suggestions" because my suggestion is associated with PVP.
What i don't like about PVP is the number of battlegrounds available.
I haven't been a heavy PVPer since TBC and that possibly has affected my opinion, but i think that EOTS,AV,AB and WSG should be the only battlegrounds.
Anyway, because surely there are some people who like the new BGs and wouldn't like to see them removed,i think blizz should somehow make the old BGs (the ones i posted above) more popular, maybe add more honor when playing in these battlegrounds?increase the amount of Frostwolf/Defilers/Warsong outriders/alliance counterparts rep you get?
Because i barely get to play an AV match nowadays.
Well to be honest people just do random battlegrounds.
If you really like the battleground you may as well manually queue. If you're interested in Honor, you do random. It is what it is...
It's not much slower if you manually queue, it just forces that to be the "random battleground"

I'd love to see more things like IQD or the Tourny but on a grander scale.
Why not have whole zones explicitly for players who are at level cap and in marginally high gear. Yes I know there are zones that have max level mobs but I mean an entire zone that has 85 mobs that are more difficult.

Tol Barad seems to fit that bill nicely.
Too bad the dailies are mostly generic kill quests or gathering quests.

Somewhat, though just a bunch of dailies isn't what I had in mind, I ment more of an actual zone, like Uldum, but for 85.

Yeah. I think I get where you're coming from.
Really is a shame that's lacking at the moment.

*Bends down with hands on knees, puffing slightly from exertion.*
"I... finally... made... it... through..."
I just realized that "I like more than one" is an option. /facepalm
Real ID grouping
Solo Content
Twinking
As long as they fix real ID so it isn't my real name, I would love to be able to group with friends on different servers. I love soloing content. And... I sort of miss twinks. ((So embarrassed to admit that.))

Well it would just be "you invite people." It would say who invited you by this basis:
You are a player named "Unoriginalnamelol" on the "Thisdoesntexist" realm.
If you invite a friend from another realm that was on Real ID.
The friend would see:
"Unoriginalnamelol-Thisdoesntexist has invited you to the group"
And you would show up as that player, unlike the current Conversation UI. In fact, every player would see other characters as if they were all in the same Battleground or something (Charactername-Realm).
I'll add it.
Oh also, you can actually change your vote. Just "go back to voting."
Edit: Okay I added it. Sorry for lack of clarification.

I know it's nitpicking but...
The IOQD/AQ style "opening/building" thing was also used at the argent tourney, the quests to gather wood and stones to build the place which was then later discontinued (much to my displeasure since I did/do hate the vehicle dailies so those were my favorite ones added at the beginning of the tourney)
Didn't see much I was wild about, in particular I hope they don't change AV...I'm getting sick of the things I like getting "revamped" aka ruined. That said, good one on typing up the ideas and having the cahones to put em out there :) and /soothe for your fingers, that's allotto type!

On Argent Tourney: I actually did happen to know about that. I kind of deduced it based on daily quest progression and the like. It's a shame they axed it (which is also why I didn't include it in my suggestion list as an example)
On AV revamp: Well AV was revamped before (addition of reinforcements, removal of NPCs, and the like). The problem is it's very obvious that old mechanics from it are out of date. I wouldn't mind the old quests and special features of AV if people actually
knew
about them. However, there is very little done to actually point newer players in that direction.
Out of all the things that deserve to be remade, Alterac Valley should be one. Many I've talked to agree that AV in its current state is just plain horrendous as opposed to timed of old...meaning the day-long matches as well as the early BC matches prior to reinforcements being put in.
Besides, the game evolves. I do believe some things shouldn't be touched (Naxxramas should have at least been cloned and the old one "time trapped" in lore) the way Blizzard touched them, but I do wholly support revamping the old world and sprucing up some of the older, out of date content. Why? Because it does get old after awhile, to be honest.
I mean put it this way, does one think Outlands questing is fun? How about after doing it a couple times? How about in comparison to the revamped quests in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdom? What about instances and the like? Old sometimes wins, but renewing can be good too.

That's where the difference is though, I DO find outlands questing fun and am working on it for the 5th and 6th time atm :) I prefer it to the revamped azeroth, mostly because I loathe loathe (imagine deep growlie voice) LOATHE the phasing and pure linear style they used, the actual quest content is quite fun but ruined for me by the 'on a rail'ness and the phasing that combine to make leveling with others a major pain.

I can understand that.
It's pretty lame when you can't finish a zone because one quest bugs out (looking at you Defending the Rift)

Solo content wins, by far. I don't mind the social/grouping aspect of WoW, but easily 80% of my gameplay is done by myself. I would also be very excited for another AQ / IQD experience.
Alterac Valley is a battleground on a completely different level from the others, and I think it should be placed in it's own queue and restored to the epic hours-long rounds, with people joining and dropping out mid-fight without suffering the Deserter debuff.
And I think Drek-thar may be the reason Blizzard won't let us have paid class changes.
Player housing seems corny to me, but I have to admit your ideas for it are pretty good. I would love to be able to display my Warlock's Hand of Ragnaros (lucky drop while rep grinding, figured why not?), somehow.
I've never understood the allure to twinking. Where's the fun in playing a character that says "My entire purpose is to have an unfair advantage over players trying to level via BGs."? Separating them via the xp cap was a good idea in theory, but like you say there aren't nearly enough twinks populating each bracket to make it enjoyable. However, my thoughts on twinks being what they are, I have no problem seeing them dwindle into nostalgia. ;)
All in all, good ideas. Now Blizzard just needs to take a gander.
