to ignore it
The most important thing what should be protected with UA is Fear. But with UA dealing so little amount of damage, Fear is not safe. And so the precious 8 second CC is wasted.

That said, i rather have UA dispel dmg increased by 30%.
UA doesn't last long enough for people to bother dispelling I think. And if you buffed the damage it does when dispelled, it would just be even more incentive to ignore it.
When i play a healer team i see the silence icon more often than i see the UA icon.
I dont know where you play aff PvP, but for me this statement sounds wrong.
You also fail to notice that UA is not dispelled for avoiding UA, if a healer could choose what debuffs he dispels he would never dispel UA. Its randomly dispelled when the main reason to dispel was to remove cc, curses, corruption, haunt etc.

good change, non-demo AoE was a bit low.

Nice to see you're updating the OP when new changes are revealed Draco!

I've liked everything I've seen so far. Might make me go back to my first love : affliction.

I like it too, but i am afraid that overbuffing affliction on the PvE side might result in a reluctance to buff PvP to avoid OP QQ from other classes.

Affliction needs the help and it's welcomed. Apparently, Blizz agrees. Will it be enough? 5% on boss fights doesn't make up for 15% haste loss (given the heavy dependence on DoT haste breakpoints). Haunt is 6% of overall damage, will raising it to 8% solve the issue? Sounds like 7% total compensation. Welcomed, hope it's enough.
On the first day after the nerf, it looked like an 8% loss to my toon, but my toon was not severely effected by haste breakpoints at the time. The magic 30% DoT haste point used to be achievable and no longer is. That 30% point represents an extra tick on all three DoT's (over a lower haste rating). Roughly estimating 20% of 20k boss dps for each DoT, missing the 30% threshold could represent close to 2k bonus damage above and beyond the haste itself (faster ticks yield extra dps and bonus ticks give bonus dps beyond the extra dps). That's an extra 10% loss that wasn't accounted for at the time (8% + 10% = 18% loss). Nevertheless, the 7% is appreciated, because my under-geared Boomkin's DoT's outperform the Aff-Lock's atm.
BTW, The simulator-experts on this forum said no change was needed - they were wrong. One might think Blizz ignoring their incorrect analysis would be sufficient to quell their misplaced enthusiasm? Let's see, shall we?

not just simulated
or
formulated analysis,
also empirical data

the deal is that it's the average of the top 200 in the various brackets as found on world of logs. it has its imperfections (it's susceptible to fight gimmicks and the less people using a spec the less valuable the data (sub rogues)) as a system but it is a really nice source for empirical data and it's getting some strong development to make it better.
a site to keep an eye on i think, moving forward.

Updated. Oh btw...
A dead player can now be resurrected by targeting them using the Party or Raid Frame even if they have released. No more hunting for corpses.
BOOYAH!

haha yeah. This is why %t macro's are good. And telling people over vent if you are in a guild raid.
Edit: Oh dear god... If they do this soulstone change we are going to have to make %t macro's... /cry

With the huge buff to the Felhunter I assume it will be the Affliction pet of choice again, right?
The new Mana Feed seems strange ... with that much mana restored (a factor of 4 is a lot), will Demonology and Affliction use Life Tap at all?

Actually it makes perfect sense, since the Felhunter and Felguard has 4 times the cooldown on the "Basic Attacks"

And not every Afflo spec chooses Mana Feed (SB filler), so I'm sure there will still be those that use Life Tap.

This buff to mana feed might be seeing SB spec slip even further behind Drain spec than it already is.
