Honestly, you'd think if god gave us free will he would be cool with us playing games.
Edit: I'm pretty she has no idea what occult actually means.

OK, finished. Seriously, anyone got a mop? My brain dribbled out my ears.
In all fairness, by midway through part 2 I couldn't work out which tangent she was currently on. Parts 2-4 are just her linking bible passages together and mentioning WoW inbetween them every now and then.
There's also a chunk of quotes from the wowdetox site which, for me,
killed any tiny shred of argument she may have had
. Get quotes from a bunch of people who are actively trying to quit the game and having such a hard time that they need help, and paint that as the norm amongst 'almost all' players - sorry, but most of the stuff I've seen on that site smacks of people already having been made to believe WoW is the root of their problems.
Learn from the 40 mins of my life I won't be getting back and don't bother watching the whole thing :)
Edit: the underlined part for clarity. I'm not saying she does have an argument. She doesn't. She has a bucket of crazy and the long pauses are actually her dipping her head in the bucket. What I meant was, even if she had had any argument, using sites such as wowdetox would have killed it.

I think there is a difference between respecting someone's beliefs and respecting their freedom to believe. I have no respect for the belief that there is no God. What I do respect is a person's freedom to believe that as they see fit.

I've seen and read multiple essays, videos, and blogs about video games that have
evil
content in them, but not one has ever mentioned the
good
.
Every single criticism of WoW-like games forget to mention, probably purposely, the
good
that conquerors the
evil
in the end.
This is mostly because exemplifying the righteousness of Paladins (Knights) will show that their is a sense of holiness to the game by crushing the Undead and Demonic forces that are presented as Satanic.
Just thought I would point this out since I have never seen this presented to flaw the argument of those that hold this game as a catalyst for Satan's corruption.

Which unfortunately, I've never run into people like that in RL; between the group of idiots who wanted to beat me for believing differently then them in High School, to the current idiots at work who give me dark looks whenever my pendants are showing....yeah.

Idiots exist; and it's seen that more of those who see anything that deviates the least little bit from their own personal world view as Satanic are the largest ones.

It doesn't matter what kind of argument you present, people like that wouldn't listen anyway. To be that closed minded you have to shut out all other forms of logic.
