I wouldn't have a problem if they give feral druids a snare break on a 30 second cooldown or something. Have both cat and bear forms of feral charge break a root effect and put them both on the same 30 second cooldown or something.
Feral Druids in their current state are completely ridiculous. They should have to blow cooldowns just like other classes do.

You wouldn't have a problem if they gave feral druids a snare break eh? Well guess what....they are NOT giving feral druids a snare break...just taking shifting away. That will not create any issues for Ferals in PvP what so ever...nope.
"Feral Druids in their current state are completely ridiculous" eh. You know that Feral mobility has not changed since WoW was relased (1.0) right? So you are telling me that Feral druids have been completely ridiculous since release?
You say things like "Feral Druids in their current state are completely ridiculous." to a PvPer that KNOWS that feral mobility has not changed since WoW was released and PvPer hears "I dont have a god damn clue what the hell I am talking about"....and they are right!
Feral druids alway did trash for damage, their mobility made up for their weak damage. Right now feral druids are one of the highest damage melee class and they have the most mobility. Blizzard tends to overnerf then make slight buffs over time. Stop crying about it, if they nerf their damage down to a reasonable level, then they can give them a snare break on a cooldown, that's called balance.
I have been playing WoW on and off since release, what type of PvP experience do you have? I've at least hit 2200 in multiple brackets. Your twink in your avatar hardly adds to your PvP credibility.

Feral druids have been able to shift since the release...you have played at 2200 in multiple brackets and you are telling me that Feral druids have been OP since release because they can shift. You are either a straight up lier, or the most cluess person to ever hit 2200 in any bracket.
I'm saying that Feral Druids always had some of the lowest dps of a dps class, so it was never an issue that they rolled around uncontrollably. They are even the only class that's permanently immune to polymorph.
This season in 3's, I'm playing warrior, mage, resto shaman. In the current state of arena this season, when there is a team with a feral druid, we have to completely abandon any normal sort of gameplan or CC rotation. The plan has to immediately become, everyone focus on the druid the whole time, attempt to get him into bear form b/c he can't be sheeped or nova'd, he has a fear immunity, slowing hits, and he does
insane damage
in cat form.
If we cannot kill him quick enough, their other chars become CC immune due to DR's and we lose the match. If druids could be snared, we switch dps to another target if we were unable to kill the druid. Right now, if we don't kill the druid within the first 45 seconds of the match, he will get healed to full and we essentially lose the match. With bearform, a self heal off hits, barkskin, frenzied regeneration it's almost impossible to do enough damage to the druid the first time around.
The main difference this season compared to previous arena seasons is before, the druids dps was garbage, so it wasn't a big deal for any druids to go running around. In fact, their damage was so weak, almost every druid played resto b/c it was the best arena healer for several seasons. We rarely saw feral druids in arena.
I'm still curious as to what type of arena experience you have, what comp you are running this season, how you are geared, and what bracket you are currently playing in. If you could please link your armory, it might explain a few things.

What ability would that be for a Feral if the PTR goes live?
I already suggest nerfing their damage and giving feral charge a 30 second cooldown and having it break roots. That would be balanced, Blizzard is probably over-nerfing your class, but the endless rootbreaks needs to go away.

Of course every other class can get out of roots. But not on every god damn global cooldown.
PRT goes live and the Feral will have NO way to get out of roots (the only class that can't).
If the PTR goes live you will still have Shaman and Paladin
HEALERS
that can get out of roots "every god damn golbal cooldown" (and heal them selfs at the same time). Its alright for them, but the class that was MADE to be mobile can't....makes perfect sense.
Fix'd.

Wrathdivine, I just checked your armory on your feral druid. You have never even hit 1550 rating in arena and you have over 300 arena wins, which means you play arena alot, but are unable to hit what is considered an "average" skill bracket.
I didn't realize you were just trolling the whole time, I thought you were being serious throughout this thread : / This whole time I assumed you had some PvP credibility.
Congradulations for fooling me, take your +1 internet or whatever the hell they call it. I'm done responding to any further posts you make in this thread.
Extermianner is the reasonable player here. Oh and Extermianner, Moonkin and Resto druids will still be able to shift out of snares, just not feral. I do forsee a cooldown based snarebreak for druids at some point, just like the other melee classes have.

Originally it was only Resto druids that would be able to keep breaking snares from shifting. A few days ago they changed it so that moonkins can break roots as well.

Enh shamans thank you for not competing with them to be the first to kill frost mages. And it wasnt "Might" it was will. Now, please focus you're tears in this jar while you apply your undispellable bleeds.
Now, I know I'm just another nobody with no experience in arena, but with
what
mobility are you recommending ferals use in order to apply said undispellable bleeds?
I'm genuinely curious.
