Fun fact: I've played lots of female toons. Never experienced anything like the op. The only character of mine that keeps getting /kiss, /love, /sexy emotes is a dwarf. A male dwarf.

WoW should take a page from Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, and give female dwarfs beards as well.

And D&D(certain types), Dragonlance, and other countless fantasy novels/supplements heh; nah, I like that the females don't have the beards though.....

Not sure that Tolkien ever mentioned any female dwarfs - at least not in any of his works that I've read (which, admittedly, is limited to The Hobbit, the LOTR trilogy, and some parts of the Silmarillion).

In The Lord of the Rings Tolkien writes that they breed slowly, for no more than a third of them are female, and not all marry; also, female Dwarves look and sound (and dress, if journeying — which is rare) so alike to Dwarf-males that other folk cannot distinguish them, and thus others wrongly believe Dwarves grow out of stone. Tolkien names only one female, Dís. In The War of the Jewels Tolkien says both males and females have beards.

If the character is female and a half naked complete ditz, it's a guy.
If the character is female and clothed, average player, and in a social guild, it's actually a girl. Who has a life and probably a boyfriend. It's probably the Paladin running around with her.
I know several girls who prefer to go "half naked" with they blood elf toons. One of them recently farmed a set of
tyrant's armor
, because she thinks it fits the BE character design. But anyway, I think collecting gear because of the looks is something typical of female players. And a strong affinity to world event achievements.

guild wise, none cause they know I'm a dude. They give me the save attention they have been for the past 4 or 5 years :) (And no, I'm not the only dude playing a female...)
Outside of guild like party, raid? Hell lot lol. Loot drops: "I'm gonna pass to (my female toon). She did an awesome job healing!" :D
