Just so people know, our newest volunteer Perculia (*wave*) has finished up a couple guides with my help and we also went through and added some fixes to all raiding strategies for Cataclysm. These strategies may differ from your guild's particular way of doing them, however, they are all tested and have been used to down the encounter by her guild as well as others =)
This means we're 100% done for this round of content and even have some heroic strategies for some of the fights.

To address your feedback:
I honestly didn't know that. Is there any way you can dig the debuff name for me?
Blizzard cheated. They changed the way the fight works - it used to be that she just did three sets of explosives, nothing fancy.

I suspected as much, since it's hard to miss...

For the Drahga encounter in Grim Batol, the "very wide frontal breath attack" that Valiona uses is
Devouring Flames
(heroic:
Devouring Flames
. The page needs edited to add this information into the strategy.(##RESPBREAK##)652##DELIM##Neutronimity##DELIM##Thanks, added here:
Drahga Shadowburner
! It appears that
90950
is used in heroic dungeon fight, while
86840
is used in the raid.

Beauty now only pulls with 2 pups, not 3.

I disagree about what is the most common strategy on Heroic Anhuur. I always see all 5 players drop down together and do the switches one at a time. Tank picks up snakes, healer heals, one dps does switch, other 2 dps kill snakes. Snakes will follow people back to boss fight, so snakes have to be killed. Most dps/healer pairs are not good enough for a dps to tank snakes, especially if the healer is trying to heal tank on other side at same time.

That's because the DPS who are assigned to pick up the snakes are not supposed to actually tank them. You just go there, aggro 3-4 of them, and run back up where you meet up with your tank and his/her 3-4 snakes; they collect them all, and you AoE them happily every after. It's not a popular strategy, but you take a lot less damage from both the snakes and Anhuur's hymn.

Heya Argent! I just noticed a small typo-ish thing, on Valiona and Theralion, it's mentioned that you don't want to be too much further then 8 yds during Theralion's ground phase because of Blackout, which doesn't actually occur in this fight. Though in my raid we just make a range pile to eat their own Meteorites, rather then run them into the melee, and have the person who gets Engulfing Magic run out. But I suppose the spread-run-in works as well, but putting Blackout in their is misleading.

I'll actually have to find out who updated the strategy - Ashelia or perculia, I think. I've been kind of out for a while, with
Portal 2
finals coming up (again) and all that jazz.

Only curious, but are the heroic strategies being maintained? If not, they may not need links to this thread any more...
Post by
Neutronimity
They will be maintained whenever they need maintaining, which means: the links will stay there. :)

Sounds great! Then perhaps the following errors could be corrected..?
A couple of minor points:
1. The strat for
Ascendant Lord Obsidius
describes the adds as following normal threat mechanics, but actually they follow special mechanics so that they attack whomever attacked them most recently. They have a buff whose tooltip explains this.
2. The strat for
Vanessa VanCleef
talks about her three rounds of explosives, but implies that you can avoid all three of them by swinging on ropes. But only the first two explosions have ropes; for the third (when she dies), no ropes spawn but the explosion has a relatively short range. If she was tanked around the middle of the ship, standing near where the ropes spawn is safe.
Cheers!

Tanking Lord Godfrey in the corner was fixed in 4.06, he shoots in a random direction now. Strategy guide still says tank him in the corner.
Thanks

The Magmaw Heroic article last bullet point
'At 30%, Nefarian will stop spawning Blazing Bone Constructs. Instead, he will cast Shadowflame Barrage onto the raid. The raid must clean up the Blazing Bone Constructs and use defensive cooldowns.'
The boss is magmaw and not nefarian.
Post by
ArgentSun
Yes, but it is Nefarian who makes the Heroic fights different - he summons the constructs to make it harder on the raid, because apparently Magmaw is not a challenge enough.

In the heroic section of the chimeron-npc page, you call chimeron nefarion over 9000 times. For example: "Thanks to Nefarian’s interference, Double Attack can be cast during Feud. Save cooldowns for this."
I thought we went over this with the poster above you. Actual spells notwithstanding, the ingame difference between Normal and Heroic fights in BWD is the fact that Nefarian interferes with the fight. If you look around each boss' room, you will find Nefarian standing somewhere, tossing spells around.
@
Arrek
, I appreciate both the feedback and the thanks, but credit for many of the Cataclysm bosses so far, as well as all of the Heroic mode sections need to be split between Ashelia and Perculia. My involvement has been smaller this patch. Credit where it's due :)

Apologies if it has already been mentioned, but on
Nefarian
's page:
Nefarian will also rain down
on the raid during this phase, so raid members must spread out into distinct clumps on each platform to minimize
further splash damage
. Damage will be intense at first as the raid lets their stacks of Magma fall off.
States it does splash damage when the tooltip and ingame observations indicate otherwise.
