Blizzard is counter productive;contradict themselves

all of you who QQ about tanking in 4.0 have you ever stopped to think that what actually happened is that Blizzard did not NERF tanking BUT add in the fact that you now need CC. What a better way for blizzard to have to relearn the mechanics of using CC in dungeons then to sneak it in on us.
If by "tanking in 4.0" you mean "tanking at level 85 heroics in the beta" then yes, you now need CC.

The only thing I consider contradictive about the new tanking philosophy is the fact that the player's ability to tank is now bound to the specc rather than the gear. I guess the assumption is that players who could tank but don't, lack the gear - not the specc. And this is something I question.
As a warrior for example, I would like to maintain 4 speccs: One fury dps, one arms dps, one protection and one pvp specc. This is quite impossible. I'm dps mainly, so I decide to keep one dps specc and one pvp specc. Back in 3.3.5, I could put on my tanking gear and do some easier (off)tanking jobs. These days are over. No chance to achieve crit immunity through gear, seems like I have to get a tanking specc whenever I feel I need to tank. To me, this is a setback, not an improvement. And anybody else who doesn't have a tanking specc is screwed, too - in spite of having both the gear and willingness to tank.
We'll see what CATA brings, but at the moment, this seems pretty odd to me.
The devs did state a long time ago that they thought that dps specs could change gear and tank some dungeons, but I think they were talking about non-heroic dungeons even. There were even talents that supported (which are now gone).
That was before dual-specs though. I'm sure having cheap dual-specs means they expect all tanks to be appropriately geared and specced now.
I was kinda bummed about the 'resilience' nerf for tanking. I ran DPS in early Wotlk, and when I finally started tanking, I used PVP gear from WG tokens to make the gear transition.
