An unfortunately by-product of the gear inflation and dungeon design we've seen in Wrath. If this had been 3.0, you wouldn't really be able to call the healer expendable by any means, except for certain dungeons.

I think people forget to have different toolbars for different situations. I've seen enough
mages
and boomkins do knockbacks almost without being aware of what they're doing to know that it's probably just part of their solo rotation.
What? You probably mean fire mages, but decent raiding fire mages shouldn't take Blastwave anyway.

So with a vast majority of the WoW population being immature, you expect maturity from everyone playing any given class?
Fact: Some immature people act in an immature fashion.
Question: Are you mature enough to deal with a problem without being immature yourself?
I say a couple unpleasant words and stop getting healed

The last time I did Coren Direbrew on my priest, I put PoM on the tank, along with a renew, and then did a holy dps rotation on Coren. He died so fast I didn't cast any other heals.
My friend, a tankadin, basically soloed the first five H HoR pulls because the healer died. It was me (a ret) healing. So we had huge heals, but not many of them =P
