One more small change.
Enhancement
Mental Quickness now reduces the mana cost of your instant spells by 75% instead of reducing the cost of shock spells by 60%.
EDIT: Considering this change affects ALL instant spells I'm gonna have to assume this means totems, Fire Nova, Shocks, LL, SS, everything, and that will most definitely fix our mana issues in PvP.
And possibly five-stacked Maelstrom spells. =)

Spells cast with Maelstrom up already have mana cost reduction. It's right there in the
talent
.

According to different reports from the beta, Mental Quickness affects every instant cast ability except Primal Strike/Stormstrike and Lava Lash (that includes totems!). In addition, Purge and Cleanse Spirit as well as the Grounding, Earthbind, Fire Elemental and Earth Elemental Totems are completely free of cost (except for the GCD).

well I remember leveling in wotlk after the updates and saying this is great. Health pop wolves, mana hit strike. it was great.
THEN they nerfed the updates. YEP Shamans are not supposed to have it like any other class.
But at that time I was 80 and healing so it didn't bother me as much.
Now with cata I need to level and I just do not see it with enh unless they get some love.
Can we pretend to be dk's and get something that works?
I really feel that they look at shamans and say....who has 5 minutes to spare?

A few more changes in the latest beta build.
Restoration
Mana Tide Totem now increases Spirit by 350%, up from 200%.
Cleansing Waters now also reduces the cost of Cleanse Spirit by 20/40%.

Quick lazy question: With the spells as they are, will Chain Lightning be viable in single target Elemental DPS rotation as it is now? (Using it after a Lava Burst).

You'll probably want two points in Ancestral Swiftness, considering it's a flat run-speed increase combined with instant Ghost Wolf - which now works indoors.

More changes to the beta.
Glyphs
Lava Lash now Increases the damage dealt by your Lava Lash ability by 20% and no longer requires your weapon to be enchanted with Flametongue.
Stormstrike now increases the Nature damage bonus of Stormstrike by an additional 10%, up from 8%.
I've seen reports from several places that the SS Glyph is supposed to be additional Nature crit instead of Nature damage as said here.

Windfury Weapon - Increases the chance per swing for Windfury Weapon to trigger by 2%.

Elemental
Elemental Reach now also increases the range of Searing Totem by 7/15 yards.
Enhancement
Windfury Weapon now deals 40% of weapon damage when Unleash Elements is used, up from 20%.
They said the Searing Totem range increase was to be implemented when they fixed Searing Totem, so unless they changed their minds, this might mean they're done!
