Best instance: Dire Maul
Best Zone: Silverpine
The part of dire maul right before the satyr boss in the wing where you get the key houses one of the best scenes in the game. Its the walkway with all the trees by it. The shadows look amazing. Go check it out in-game. Its the only way to experience it.

I think that Grizzly hills is a good zone but it could have been better if the trees were taller like in silverpine. One other thing that bugs me is the height of the trees in places like winterspring, ungoro, feralas, ect. The trees are so tall and are well the height of the world tree in hyjal or even taller.
Overall, the landscape of every zone is good but it would be even better if the sun and shadow had more effect on it.

Its really grizzly hills to me. It was wonderfull. Me blood striking enemys and killing them. Making quests and so. Good music too. Epicest place to me definetly.

I have to semi-necro this thread (where's the line, I forget...)..
There's a series of waterfalls in the western side of Crystalsong Forest just outside Silvermoon City that I find to be quite pretty.
Though it's somewhat of a pain to get to, I also
really
like the spot on the inside of the ogre cave in western Burning Steppes.. trickling water and all those stones covered in green-glowing lichen. I don't know, something cool there.
Pretty much anywhere in Stranglethorn. I love me some jungle.
Each zone has it's own beauty.*
*Except Silithus. That zone can rot in the worst pit of hell.

I love the cave in Un'Goro with all the crystals, it's gorgeous. I also love Nagrand. Most stunning zone in WoW in my opinion.
I love Nagrand as well. It's so rural and green and peaceful looking. But Hillsbrad, Grizzly Hills & Howling Fjord are pretty damn good too...

Mine's gotta be Mulgore. I love the Indian theme (reminds me of the some of the pow-wows I used to go to when I was a kid), that and the fact that Thunder Bluff doesn't hog up all my computer resources, unlike Orgrimmar, Booty Bay, or Shattrath.

One of the most breathtaking views I have seen is entering the Barrens from Dustwallow Marsh in WotLK during sunrise. I have not been there since Cata release. Other locations I enjoy are:
1. Grizzly Hills
2. Nagrand
3. Allerian Stronghold in Terokkar Forest (for the feel of the place and the water wheel)
4. Howling Fjord (although I hate questing there)
5. There are many others that I also want to screenshot...

Nagrand is the only place in this game that striked me as being beautiful. I can't think of any other place that even compares.

For me it's the Western Plaguelands. It's always been my favorite zone. I think it's because of the Autumn colors and the Architecture of the structures that weren't destroyed by the scourge. Not sure, just something about it is always eye pleasing to me.

Wintergrasp.
The tinkling tunes (especially at night time) make it one of the most beautiful places in WoW.
