At this point, Troll status given. You purposefully picked a user to answer to and ignored half of our points.
It's not a question of what is doable or not... It's a question of what is justified or not. You're asking for oppinions about world PvP, and people are giving them. They consider lvl15 vs lvl80 combat far from PvP. Even though they rolled a PvP server, they rolled it for fights, not for slaughter. I also love hanging in Stranglethorn and Hellfire. The possibility of being attacked by one or various enemies is thrilling. But the presence of level 80s KILLS ALL THE THRILL. I may escape - so what? Wherever they are, I can't be. How is that PvP, when one of the players has such an advantage that the other is forced to run away no matter how skilled he is? That's not true PvP.
I'm definatelly not one to make an alt and QQ to my opponents, but if level 80s are scouting the area, I'd rather log out thann feed their egos. How the hell does that make for thrilling PvP? The vague possibility a main is called and takes ages to get there? The vaguer possibility of a level 80 passing by? (Admitedly this doesn't apply to STV in fishing extravaganza times).
IN SUM. I (And judging by the rest of the thread, all who posted) do not consider killing level 20 players at 80 PvP. There's your answer, simplified.

1) 10 games a week for 2 months ~ 80 games, you clearly care alot more than you let on
2) still teetering at
1200
after over 100 games has nothing to do with not playing arenas seriously, it has to do with you sucking hardcore

I was asking about server choice- I felt that if all people wanted to do was engage in "fair" combat then they would be better suited to a PvE server since you can arena/bg/wg etc. on them. =]
A simple remark turned into a flamefest on my personality and skill level. So how am I trolling?
First, I didn't ever comment on your skill or experience. Point moot.
Second, people are better suited on a PvE server if they generally don't want to PvP. Not because they want fair fights; but because they DO NOT WANT FIGHTS.

Using your definition of PvP combat (fair fights without getting ganked) you are pretty much talking about playing on a PvE server.
Arenas.
World PvP areas like Wintergrasp.
Battlegrounds.
And since its based on Battlegroups and not servers I am sure they are competitive- not sure why you people are nerd raging so much since to me PvE servers are pretty much PvP servers but without the ganking hence the point of my thread.
Seems you would all be much happier there but you dont transfer because of the stigma attached to PvE servers (IMO).
My definition of PvP combat is what every single poster till now has hammered into your head. It's our oppinion, you're just skipping it.
I never said without getting ganked. You seriously misinterpret the word.
A gank can happen when you're caught off guard by a same-levelled player.
A gank can happen when several players attack you.
A gank can happen when your enemy attacks you purposefully knowing he has a stupidly unfair advantage.
You only seem to know the last bit. The other two types of ganking are fun. The second can lead to massive H vs A battles. You're on a 40-50 zone, for example, so even ganked by 5 horde, chances are you'll find people to team up with against their onslaught.

Your casuals must really really be casual since 30 games a week is maybe 10minutes a day. doing something for 10 mins every day for 8 weeks is alot of time spent on one thing
the arena system isn't built around grinding btw, many hardcore teams will only play 10 games a week

Taking into account that this was my first time chilling in alliance territory (feel free to check out my explore achieves) I am not as experienced as you in the fine differences between running around redridge talking to /g as I was completing my achieves and maliciously farming lowbies. dodges noted.

Stop using the achievement as an excuse. You don't need 2 hours to scout Redridge Mountains. You eventually started focusing on the killing only.
