Really? I didn't think they had the numbers for a large military force, what with the fiasco in Outland and the army's manipulation in Northrend. You see, that's just the thing:
Vurenn says he can have "two regiments" there in a month.
Valanar
Talbot says "Are you sure the farmboy recruits should really have to work next to a bunch of
you know what
, even if they
are
paladins? And no, I am most definitely
not
a Scourge infiltrator with a vested interest in limiting the number of paladins in Northrend because their exorcism would crit me every time." Arlos laps it up.
And the draenei sit on their tails even
after
it's all supposedly resolved.

2 regiments? I wish they'd used a term that meant more than a few hundred to five thousand. It doesn't give an accurate guess.
I mean if Vurenn could field two regiments of five thousand, it's not the same as two regiments of a few hundred.Yeah, that was kind of an inexact term. My guess is that they didn't want to make it sound like too trivial of a number, but didn't want to detract from the idea that draenei are a remnant population, either.

From what I've seen, the Draenei have a large military presence in Kalimdor.

From the beta videos I've seen. In stone talon there are many Draenei paladins in the Night Elf forces. I concluded that if there are Draenei forces in Stone talon with the Night Elf army, that where ever the Night elves would be, some Draenei would be as well. So not large. But a larger presence than has been seen before.

A regiment is about 3-5,000 soldiers. So I'd say that they'd be sending a large portion of their army. If Blizzard uses regiment correctly.

Wikipedia even seems to be a bit iffy on it: Depending on the nation, military branch, mission, and organization, a modern combat regiment resembles a brigade, in that both range in size from a few hundred to 5,000 soldiers (3 to 7 standard battalions). So yeah.
And draenei are supposed to be a remnant population. If we go by
Rise of the Horde
, there were maybe a thousand who fled Argus. And, while there have certainly been births since, there have been a
hell
of a lot more deaths.

I hope they get to have a pretty good presence in Ashenvale. Yeah, it's been ten years since BC storywise, but I really really doubt that most of the draenei forgave the orcs. So when their night elven allies call for aid there, I hope that there will be quite a few vengeful Hands of Argus responding.

Actually, it's only been three; the Night Elf was talking about the Battle for Hyjal, not the Dark Portal and Sunwell incidents.

(One was a neutral evil destructo, the other is a lawful evil manipulator with wings.)

I thought it was a ten year time skip. Guess I heard wrong.

I do tend to mix them up. I just remember one was red and angry, and the other was blue and went boom.

Kil'jaeden = lawful evil manipulator with wings. Red and angry, with a tendency to act like a yandere. Still alive (and probably sulking and/or scheming somewhere in the Twisting Nether).
Archimonde = neutral evil destructo. Blue. Went boom and got killed by a bunch of wisps (oh, the ignominy).
On the up note: flight master in Azure Watch.

And the Flight Master for the Exodar is in the city itself. I'm holding out for a flight path to the Exodar, since they can, and should, do it.

Sorry but the one complaining the most is the one they listen too, thats how it works. no its not, not at all
if it was wow would be a terrible game
WoW is a terrible game... that we all are addicted to. Honestly, can any of us state that the current version of WoW is our favorite version of WoW. I miss having to balance raids to having the perfect buff combos, as opposed to most raid buffs being shared between classes, in particular. You could also miss resistance stacking (when it made sense), previous talent builds (before they broke your class), whatever.
QQ'ing has always gotten blizzard to make changes to the game in an effort for "Balance." I personally have always been opposed to balancing a game, tends to make more issues than it solves. Additionally, why wouldn't some classes be better at PvP and others better at PvE? I get the "all created equal" ideal, but it doesn't mean "all equally equipped to handle every possibility."
Just my thoughts on the matter, couldn't stop them after reading this guys belief that Blizzard doesn't listen to the complainers... Does he honestly think that the things that are blasted in forums just happen to be the things that get changed? And no, I am not going to list the vast examples of that, because if you have played long enough, you have watched the changes and already know.

Well, i am glad to hear that actually, ShadCroly. No sense knocking you for liking the current version, but you weren't around for the previous transitions. To give you a taste of the things I was referring to though....
Imagine, you are on your Paladin... and you are loving life, because this is your favorite patch. The next day, blizzard says, "Well, we are finally tired of hearing all the complaints about Paladins doing... oh heck, everything." So, they 'fix' you. Suddenly, some of your abilities that were top teir talents, are now universe to all paladins... Not so bad. Next, others are removed entirely... Wait, wtf. Then the cooldowns are all changed.... NO! My rotations! Then, they make some abilities override others, making them impossible to both being used... NOOOOOZ! Then they take your unique abilities and give some of them to another class... Wait, those were mine! Then while every paladin is relearning their class, nobody wants them because they think the new version is fail... No groupz for me... Then other class that got some of your abilities gets other abilities that makes it way to OP.... /ragequit
I could keep going, sadly... If anybody else wants to, I would enjoy reading them, but each of those have happened. Many (if not all) changed on the same day.
