Why are you talking in third person?
It's his shtick.
... Well, there's some accidental humor for you.
LOL
But seriously, I really think this may just be a troll thread.
Its an explosion of posting and as soon as laihendi starts laughing I'll be sure O.o

To many wowhead users, that word is offensive and simply isn't appropriate for a site that is supposed to keep things rated PG. Laihendi's little sister is 11. There is nothing stopping her from going to this website, clicking on a thread or something, and seeing something as traumatic as the word "penis" on her screen.
It's a PG-13 community. And the forum rules clearly state as such. 11-year-olds should be on here, and if they are, it's at their own risk.
This might be a PG-13 community, but in the world of the internet, there's nothing stopping people under the age of 13 from using this site. How are they supposed to know that they are entering a site where the word "penis" can just be thrown around whenever someone wants?
It is wowhead's moral duty to filter the word "penis" to help preserve the innocence of the youth of the planet.
And that's your sister's fault for going places she shouldn't. That's your parent's fault for allowing her unrestricted internet access. It's not Wowhead's fault.
Children don't know better than to go to websites that might contain inappropriate language. And yeah, parents should be trying to make sure their young children aren't exposed to things like the word "penis", but wowhead should doing its part in making the jobs of parents a little bit easier.

They don't owe anything to 11-year-olds. They
shouldn't
be doing anything for them.

Why should Wowhead do that? They have no obligation to the parents nor the children.
This is amusing.
They have a moral obligation. Wowhead should be thinking about what is best for the children.

No, that's your parents' jobs. Which apparently they fail at, according to you.

What children?
I really don't think a large demographic of this site is made up of people 12 and below!

a) Penis is not inherently sexual. It's inherently scientific. There are numerous slang terms in use that have much more sexual undertones for referring to one's penis.
b) Anyone who is too young to know what a penis is should not be using the internet with no supervision.
c) Anyone old enough to use the internet without supervision has much more to worry about than the word "penis".
A) If kids didn't know what the word "penis" meant, then they would not associate any slang word with the word "penis", so those slang words would mean nothing to them, and would not corrupt them.
B) That might be true, but sometimes it's impossible to stop a curious child from using the internet, and wowhead should be doing its part to make the internet a safer place for them.
C) This thread is about the children.

I say we start a vote on these subjects:
1. Is penis really such a sensitive word that will traumatize young people?
2. Should penis be censored?
3. Are children a large demographic of this site.
4. Do you think this is a troll thread?
Edit: Here are my votes:
No.
No.
No.
Yes.

site based off a game rated T with online interactions in /2 which would be rated M or AO
site is rated PG-13
/2 has a moral obligation to protect the innocence of todays youth
honestly the wowhead community is mature and the only person I've seen abuse this term to be even just slightly offensive to anyone at all might be you. With all your posts you know the community generally well and the board most likley to use the term is here in randomness. Tell me who in randomness will abuse the term?
If your looking to save the innocense of your sister keep her in "safer" sites
this should help you find some
