That's awful :( This is a MMORPG! Emphasis on the
multiplayer
part!
Without those people, you wouldn't complete the run, you wouldn't get your badges, your loot, whatever.... I think at least hello and goodbye isn't so bad!
(Even if you macro it!)
I, on the otherhand, find it a waste of time in every way. Why acknowledge someone's presence?
If someone happens to meet you far away from home in an unexpected coincidence, yeah give em a oh hi what's up. Otherwise, move straight to "real" conversation. Something with content.
