Me
: Azad, what does it feel like being several millenia old? Do you, I don't know, feel bored, or fed up with life, or tired of having to speak
like this
all the time to maintain Man'ari Eredar image?
Azad
: How does it feel to be tens of thousands of years old? It's hard to describe. Normal, I suppose. What's it like knowing that within a time that in the face of the cosmos is but a fraction of a fraction of a moment, you will simply cease to exist? I mean, we have thousands of years to get used to it, after all...
Perhaps some such as Velen would have problems with boredom, but it's very hard to be bored with my philosophy. If my every action is for my own enjoyment, excluding of course, not doing things that would ultimately hurt me, I can't really get bored or fed up. It's all too much fun.
What do you mean 'like this?' This is my voice! ...I don't like what you're implying. It would be best not to cross me, mortal. Killing you would be satisfying.

(( Maybe a horrible necro, but the topic isn't quite dead yet. ))
My characters.
Me
: Alexander, the method you used to fuse your worgen and human sides together bears some vauge similarity to the Scythe of Elune's ability to give the human side of those infected with the Worgen Curse control over their other half. Does the similarities have to do with druid magic being the root of both, or was this ability of yours inspired by the actions of the Scythe? Also, why did you choose to do what you did instead of using the Scythe like many of the other Gilneans?
Post by
Behelich
Alexander
: *laughs* I did not choose, per se. After my infection - but before I actually killed someone, and I'll never cease repeating it, - I was captured by the night elves residing in Tal'Doren and it is to them that I owe what I am. So I guess the asnwer to your first question would be druidic magic.
Me
: Morec...
Are the boxes yellow?
Post by
Morec0
Morec
: Boxes? What boxes? I see no boxes? I hear voices, though. These voices are either
italicized
or
bold
. *Laughs* What? Did you think I was in a comic book or something?
Me: Lisciel, what is your opinion of the conflict between the Sunreavers and the Silver Covenant? Do you think that a compromise can be reached between the two or that the Covenant's views may hold some merit?
Post by
Behelich
Lisciel
: It upsets me a lot, since several of my friends are still affiliated with the Covenant. While there are some positive tendencies - especially with the Sunwell re-ignited - I'm afraid that, as long as the Horde and the Alliance are in conflict, so are the Sunreavers and the Covenant.
As for their views... *Steeples his fingers* Yes. From a
certain point of view
.
Me
: Talah, did your life change after your... Let's call it transformation. Specifically, do you feel any difference apart from lacking the need to eat, sleep and so on?
And while it's a terrible breach of etiquette, I'm afraid I won't kiss your hand as a greeting.
Post by
Morec0
Talah
: I don't need to eat or sleep, but I do so anyway. I think the Forsaken call it the Echo of Life, or something like that, I call it habit. Beyond that I see myself, and so feel, unchanged. I am still the same person I was in life, and my love of fel has not diminished - if anything, it has grown.
And I don't blame you. My touch has become... something do die for.
Me
: Lisciel, what do you mean by "a certain point of view"?
Post by
Behelich
Lisciel
: *Slightly unnerved* What I mean is that I think I can understand why they think what they think, and I don't blame them. That's the long and the short of it.
Me
: Timothy, what would you choose - complete transformation into a Faceless One (naturally, with a lot more raw power than you possess now), or an ability to shift your left arm at will, so as one can percieve you as a normal human?
Post by
Morec0
Timothy
: You dare ask me a question with the thought that I would show distaste for the blessing the Old Gods have bestown upon me! Should my ancient masters choose to grant me the form of their greatest servants I will
not
hesitate to
accept
their boon! Now begone from my sight, infidel.
Me
: You seem nervous, Lisciel. Is it because you agree with the views of the high elves over those of your own people? And, if so, is that because you have friends that did not become blood elves?
Post by
Behelich
Lisciel
: *Sighs* Let's just say that of the said friends not all accepted me, even though it is known that whatever I did in my life, I did it for my motherland.
Me
: Whoa, calm down, Timothy, I was merely implying that sometimes disguising yourself to destroy your enemies from within could be more... Efficient than facing them in direct combat, don't you think so?
Post by
Morec0
Timothy
: What you are implying is that I might even consider hiding the blessing of my Gods. What you are implying is blasphmey. If I must inflitrate the lands of my enemies I will send one who does not have the blessing of the Old Gods so that they may prove themself to our masters. If I must attend to a matter perminately I will slaughter my way though with the power they have given me.
Me
: And what do your fellow blood elves think of this viewpoint?
Post by
Behelich
Lisciel
: It depends on an elf, really. Most of the sin'dorei that are close friends of mine are Sunreavers, and in general share my views. As for the rest... *Motions at Kareth*
Quel'Thalas first, everything else later.
Me
: Moving along, Vrem - DON'T POINT THAT AT ME!
Good doggie, good doggie...
Ahem.
So, I take it you particularly hate worgen of all living species. How come?
Post by
Morec0
Vrem
:*lowers he rifle and motions for Marrow to back down* I hate the worgen because of the circumstances of my death. I hunt them because of my hatred and it is the wish of my Queen that they be exterminated.
Me
: So Kareithel, with the Sunwell restored the gap between high elves and blood elves seems to be growing fuzzy. How do you feel about that?
Post by
Behelich
Kareth
: *Puts a book away and re-adjusts his opaque glasses* Hm-m, I feel that each and every one of us should do what is best for Quel'Thalas, regardless of our eye color. However, the Quel'Dorei will have to realise sooner or later, that they are remnants of the past, while we are children of the new age. Hard times require hard decisions, I think you understand that.
Not that I bear any prejudice towards the high elves, I just think they should shut up and work to restore our motherland.
Me
: Wish of your Queen, eh? Not that I'm implying anything, Vrem, but suppose something terrible happens to Her Majesty and no val'kyr are around. Suppose then that the next Forsaken leader would be less... willing to tolerate omnicidal tendencies of the likes of yours. What would you do?
Post by
Morec0
Vrem
: What you are saying is speculation, based on the idea that my Queen would make the mistake of getting herself killed. She is stronger and more cunning than that, and I, among others, will see to it that no one has the chance to harm her.
Me
: So you belive that the Quel'dorei should embrace "the future" and become blood elves themselves?
Post by
Behelich
Kareth
: Not exactly. The transformation is not that radical, you now. Genetically, we are still members of the same species. If they wish to separate themselves from us... Their numbers are few, degeneracy would be inevitable. For their own good, they should not distinct us from them.
Me
: *cough* Godfrey *cough*
Post by
Morec0
Vrem
: Yes, but there were Val'kyr around at that time - a criteria which
you
mentioned. As for Godfrey, you don't want to know what I did to him after I reached him in Shadowfang Keep.
Me
: So... they should help you then leave their homeland for good if they do not want to join you?
Post by
Behelich
Kareth
: Leave their homeland? Definitely no. There are still abandonded houses all across the peninsula, you know. I would be the last to force them out of
our
homeland...
As long as they don't plot against us, that is.
Me
: While we're at it, suppose now the opposite - that your kind succeeded and rooted out all that would challenge them. Is this how you see your ideal future - a dead world with no one but Forsaken occupying it?
Post by
Morec0
Vrem
: If that is the wish of my Queen, then yes.
Me
: So you do admit to a bit of predejuce against the high elves? At least if you preceive them as attempting to undermine your right to the land?
Post by
Behelich
Kareth
: I suspect everyone and everything. That is my job and I never intended to hide it. Racial prejudice has nothing to do with it.
Me
: And? What would you do then? With nothing to hunt, no one to kill...
