I retaliate by hunting them down and killing them over and over and over again and become their worst nightmare.
The idea of winning the BG is out for me at this point, I count my victory in the number of deaths they have. So entertaining to have them see you coming and just run the other way even in a group of 3+.
My finest fail would be when I'm absolutely convinced my next cast will kill a heals and I turn to start capping the node only to find them healing themselves and still very much alive with a swarm of node spawns 5 seconds behind the guy.
Also Hunters who disengage back onto a cliff or shammies that pull the Ressurect+Thunder Storm, I always think it's over with and I'm safe only to learn the error of my ways.

-A couple of people defending LM flag in AB, one of them being me. Suddenltly a bloody ele shaman shows up, and thunderstorms us off the LM cliff. We die and loose LM. Good thing is you learn from your mistakes and I have never stayed close to the cliff again.

By far the worst for me was in a 2-2 WSG with me as a rogue following the flag carrying shammy spamming FOK as much as possible to slow the opposing team members. Finally the Shammy goes down but as luck would have it i manage to grab the flag and keep running. Popping cloak of shadows and sprint im soon well ahead of the horde going up our tunnel for an easy cap. Theres a rogue behind me but too far away to do anything to stop me....that is until i decide to finish with a flourish and pop Nitro Boosts without thinking.
After that all i could do was sit with my head in my hands as an entire horde team laughed at me.

Bubbled with the enemy flag under attack on WSG just in front of my own in the very culmination of the fight instead of using LoH. I asked myself for a long time after why did I do that. That was total fail.

Running to get the flag back to our base, we were 2-2 so I was sorta the last chance. I got to the base waited and danced a little bit to annoy evryone. Before I know Deathgripped and getting killed by the entire enemy team. I got so much grief since three of the people I was playing with was with my guild.
Getting ganked by rogues too: Suddenly your sapped, then cheap shot, then kidney shot and then your dead before you repeatedly mash Stoneclaw Totem and then earthbind. =/
