Hi, if I'm replying to a comment that provides WRONG, FALSE, NOT CORRECT information about something. Why do I get down rated for correcting it? If someone could answer, I know what to comment and not to comment in the future! :)
And if this isn't a valid thread, me being a idiot because the answer is just too obvious. Feel free to delete it and I will consider kill my self.

Maybe they downrated you because you used an apostrophe to pluralize Druids :).

If the parent comment is purged, replying to it with correcting information serves little purpose.
Telling the user that the comment is irrelevant is not the best use of a comment. If you want to express that, downrate his comment.
Simply saying "no, this is best-in-slot" is not providing an abundance of useful information. It is possible that users either disagreed or also thought that your comment was just as irrelevant as the other user's comment.
Asking why your comment keeps getting downrated is only likely to provoke more negative rating by users.

In other words, the first rule of not getting downrated is don't talk about not getting downrated?

Thanks for clarifying it! :) It's annoying when you're "doing it wrong" without know what.
Pelf : I doubt that was the reason :p

May all your future comments be uprated to infinity and beyond!
