If you got a PM from someone on the site called 'wowmanager' or 'interface121', saying:
I need your help, here is my post.
or any variation thereof, do
NOT
click on the link and log in to that site.
It is NOT WoWInterface
. If you check the url closely, you will see that it is actually "Wowinte
N
face". (spaces added because we've censored the link). If you don't pay really close attention, it really looks like our site. It isn't. This is an attempted Phishing scam.
If you have already clicked the link and tried to login
please change your password asap
! They were showing a
fake
login page.

I wonder why they would be fishing for the username/password to a site like that? Maybe to see if someone used the same info for their wow account or the login button was actually a script to launch malware...
The man-in-the-middle attack that successfully bypassed some authenticator protected account security the other day was installed from a fake wowmatrix updater...
Thanks for the head's up.
No, it is to fish people paypal donation informations.
And yet you'll still hear people say "don't click exe files and you're safe!"
That's for a computer. For internet, you need Firefox with NoScript and ABP :)
