Hello everyone,
Recently I've started doing a bit of PvP, essentially for mounts and achievements, and as I'm a prot warrior I was thinking about putting together a "flag carrier" set and build, which would focus heavily on survivability, with no offense whatsoever, for team gameplay only.
What I would like to know: I know there's a resilience cap, when do I reach it? Should I gem pure resilience, pure stamina or resi/stam?
I've made
this flag carrier set test profile. Could you please comment and help me improving it?
Thanks in advance!

While I can't help you personally since I don't play tanks any level above 70, you may want to look at the principals of
effective health and other similar tanking information, as it's still very accurate for PVP. Using completely theoretical numbers, if you have 40k hp and you can choose between 30 stamina and 20 resil (is that budget?), what is going to be better:
* 318 hp (0.007% increase)
or
* 0.25% crit chance reduction, 0.55% crit damage reduction, and most importantly 0.25% player damage reduction
I would definitely say stack resilience, because while the 0.25% player damage reduction only starts at being a 101~ hp improvement, with the amount of healing you should theoretically be receiving, the resilience will keep being more and more meaningful as it continues to decrease damage, while once that 318 hp is used up, it's no longer useful for anything during extended combat because you don't need to survive 40k burst damage in the first place. That doesn't count the crit reduction, either. The resilience benefit scales even better the more you stack it (up to at least the 1.4k cap).
