The file "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft\Uninstall.xml.temp" could not be created. If this problem persists, you may be able to solve it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. If you are unable to correct this problem, please contact Blizzard Technical Support. (InstallerFile::Create)
That i get when i click my desktop icon, game worked fine 20mins ago, logged out, logging back in, first it downloads something, then i see that message. Is there another way to solve it, than re-installing the game, which "maybe" solves it?
Would have posted on official wow europe forums, but unfortunately im perma- banned for trolling.

The file "xyz" could not be created.
From what little I know about Windows Vista/Windows 7, this usually happens during patching when you did not execute the patcher as administrator.
You mentioned that you had to download something, this likely was a patch from your description. Try to locate the Blizzard installer with the highest version number in your World of Warcraft folder, and execute it as administrator.
This should prevent the installer from stalling and instead properly finish the patching process.
I hope this helped.
