The kaldorei wailed. She wanted to go away, hide from the nasty thing which made the forest scream. But she knew she had to come back, the ducks would miss her.

Neemo gave Linara a sad smile, the other elf was scared, like her. Of what was in the tree, waiting... whatever it was, she wished it would go away. Maybe the draenei would make it go away while they were gone. The druid took a deep breath and kept walking through the ruined wilderness.

Linara silenced quickly, realising that the nasty creature might be able to hear her. She pressed the shard of rock even closer towards her, squeezing against her bust.
"Are we there yet?"
The priestess asked nervously.

" Was all Neemo mumbled, she wasn't sure how long till the got there. She wasn't sure where she had been on the tree when she found the other elf and the draenei.

Linara bluntly replied. She then had some idle chit-chat with the rock she had in her hands, and relaxed her grip on it.
"Sorry Timothy, I didn't mean to suffocate you!"

Neemo stepped down the withering, large, branches of Teldrassil, shuddering again at the touch of the tainted wild. She looked over her shoulder to make sure Linara was still following, but held up a hand, "
Stay for moment, will check to see if Ruth'theran is close.

Neemo crouched over, her skin fading and ruffling into bright purple feathers, her neck longed, and a beak took over her mouth. Her legs got tiny, and her arms took on wings. The bird pushed off the branch and dived down, eyes scanning the ground and the web of mangled and rotting plants.

"Timothy, you'll keep me safe; won't you?"
She asked the rock sincerely. There was silence.
"Thanks, I'll keep an eye out for you as well."

Neemo twitched her head from side to side, watching the ground, and between the destroyed branches of the World Tree she could see the ruins of the fishing village Ruth'theran. Most of the docks had been destroyed, but one was still half decently functional, a boat waiting for whoever had come onto the island.
The druid nodded and headed back to where she had left Linara.

Linara asked the rock which stayed silent.
"I'd love to have a daughter, but I don't see that happening for a long, long time."
She said, noticing the bird which resembled what Neemo had turned into.

Eventually Varin spotted the paladin, who was also his cousin. He ran over to the paladin however he stopped dead in his tracks. He saw that his cousin was no more, a single tear came to his eye, "he were a good fellow, he was," he said, mostly to himself. He walked over to the body of his cousin sadly, "he didnae deserve te die," said Varin, blaming it on himself.

The Draenei siblings watched as the two elves left, then Kel let loose a bark of laughter, looking at the corpse of the duck. "That one has gone completely around the bend." She said, and Shen nodded, pulling a few things from her pouches along with her Water totem, placing them on the ground. She quickly got to work at setting up the cleansing spell to attempt to fix the clearing of it's taint, shuddering slightly at the feeling in the air while Kel stalked around the edge, inscribing the circle her sister would need.

Occasionally the druid shuddered, obviously from the taint of the world tree, and almost slipped a few times when she was snapped away from her trances. When the silence was too long, the druid looked back at the other elf, "
