Keep in mind. If you complete a quest in one session, it will not finalize until you relog. This is an API issue with blizzard. this is how i get it to work right away:
- Log-out at an Inn, to your character selection screen. (makes it faster)
- Log back in
- Wait 1 minute for spam to finish
- Log back out
- Exit
- Start Client and upload.
What i assume is happening, is that the game does not tell the blizzard servers about the quest completion until you log out. This is how most configuration information is saved in game, when you log out. There for the Wowhead_Looter wont know about the quests.
Also, you should not need to process the /wl collect command, this is done automatically when you log in. Be sure you have pulled up your characters on the site, and Claimed them to your account. Looking at your profile, you have no uploaded Dataz, and no characters set (unless you have the characters set as private).
The addon doesn't upload automatically, you also have to run the executable. You can set the options in the executable to start with Windows and upload every time you exit from WoW, if you like. But you still have to start it up manually at least once.
As Sarilyn said. Once you extract the client to wherever you want, you have to run it. Go to
Tools > Options and enter your wowhead user-name and password. You can also select the option "
Start with Windows", "
Start minimized", and "
Automatically upload when WoW exits"... Also be sure to have "
Upload character data" selected.

We'll add a new notification in the Looter that reminds people they need to actually
upload their data (using the
Client) after collecting it.
Will be possible to disable it using the /wl nospam chat command, of course.
