More people would use it if it worked better, but not really worth the investment to make it better when no-one uses it now, eh?
I've used it a few times, and yes, it's crap, in a way that makes me say *surely* someone in this group knows of a vent server we can hop on?
At the same time though, Is it necessary? I mean, I get into a pug or whatnot, we start pulling, 15 min finish, even if I have to stop and explain the fights because someone hasn't been here before. Adding VOIP won't really make that any faster, and god knows I do not want to be in voice chat with a lot of these morons. If I'm in a pug raid -- ICC trash/rep, VoA -- someone will have vent.

I think they should leave VoIP out of it. I don't want to get into a random LFD run to hear some pre-pubescent kid spewing crap about how his new sword makes him uber awesome or one of those people who have their mic volume set so high that it blows out my ears.
Granted, I could just turn it off...but I'm fine with doing things the old-fashioned way and using Vent when I really need to.

The in-game VOIP was a frontrunning point to a patch...
So were weather effects. And the burning crusade.
We see how well those went.

I don't know what you're talking about, I loved TBC. And weather effects...well, they could be better, but it's a nice, subtle touch to the game :P

Don't waste your time. Nobody uses the in-game VoIP anyway.

You can't, you're on a trial account, Mr.Troll. If you can't use /y, or any chat channels, I doubt you can use VOIP.
Why are you still posting here, anyways? Desperate for attention?

Why the hostility? Honestly, I don't see a trolling post here other than your own.

Because the guy I'm replying to has made many troll-ish topics here recently. IE, the one saying he's just starting WoW, yet he joined here three years ago, and in February 08, he made a post saying he's just starting WoW. Not to mention a thread where he said he ninja'd. Yep, he just started WoW, and he's in Naxx25 already. Makes sense rite?

I suppose it may all add up if he's had a WoW account banned already... would explain new accounts and if they've been banned... well ^^.
Negatory. First post in 08 said he made a trial account, second one recently said he made his FIRST trial account. Obvious troll is obvious.

I doubt anyone would even touch it if they did. :\ A majority of players that use VoIP use an external program and would probably not be bothered to switch back at this point. It has too much of a bad rap now.
