It started one exceedingly warm summer day. I had just gotten back from the beach, and me and my husband were absolutely exhausted, so we went to bed early. The air conditioner was terrible and all it did was waste electricity, so we left it off. It was one of those nights where, even despite the thunderstorm which really just made it muggy to, it's so hot that you can't bear to sit still, and we were sweating and tossing and turning. This is relevant for two reasons. The first one was that when we saw it, my husband stopped moving. I looked up, wondering if he was asleep. His eyes were wide open, even in the darkness I could make out the veins and the enlarged dark mass of his pupil. I turned to see what he was looking at. I didn't see anything, but suddenly the room went cold. I stared at the spot, anxious and incredibly nervous. There was a flash of lightning, and as the light flashed I saw a grotesque dark shadow projected against the back wall. It may not sound scary, but it looked like a flower's shadow. A humanoid body balanced impossibly on a thin stalk. Neither of us slept that night.
Neither of us talked about the epidemic. When confronted with the topic, we would dismiss it to each other as a trick of the light, as well as nighttime fears, the illusion would not be difficult to create. But secretly we knew it was more. The sheer blood freezing horror could not be replicated. I could tell he thought the same thing. It was obvious by the zoned out way he looked. He did everything he would normally do, but in an unconscious sort of way, like how you might start rubbing your head if you had a headache without thinking about it. He would occasionally fall silent mid sentence, lost in thought.
Two months later we went for a night swim. The pond we were going to his about a mile from our house, but we walk over a huge flat field with perfect visibility, as long as we carried torches. I mean real torches, we're all a bunch of pyromaniacs, and when we saw them in the store it was too cool to resist. Just as I was about to leave the house, I realized I had forgotten to put my bikini on under my clothes. I told my husband to go ahead. By the time I left he was halfway across the field. Lying face down. I ran towards him, but just as I did, it was there. It had the same being, but now I could make out it's features. It had four arms, they were black. Not like colored black, I mean jet black, like black hole black. Instead of legs, it had two more arms from the bottom of it's torso, right next to each other touching, hands spread outwards holding it up off the floor. It had no head. But that wasn't the most scary part. Instead of even flesh, his torso was made of hundreds of faces. Some of the eyes were wide with terror and pain, nostrils flaring, others weeping ceaselessly, shouting about the sorrows of the world, screaming for help. They were not stitched together, the skins simply connected and became one. Then he was gone.
I rushed to my husband, and flung myself at him. I touched his wrist for his pulse, nothing. I turned him over and put two fingers into his neck. Still nothing. I put my head against his chest. Nothing. I cried. I looked at his face. There were no features. Where his beautiful blue eyes, small nose, and thin lips had once been there was not a simple tanned piece of flesh. Even more than that, is that he had fallen onto his torch. By the time I got there, it had burned to the bone, and half his face was void of flesh. While the skull retained it's normal shape, the eye sockets were gone, the nose socket was gone, and the front of the most was connected, instead of in teeth. I stared shocked, then I started to weep, and weep, and weep.

I have finished watching marbled hornet it scaired the #$%^ out of me I couldn't sleep for 4 days :S
Fear not, for in the Spacecat secret lab, I've found
Not one, but
TWO cures
to flush out bad thoughts. Watch atleast 4 times a day. One as soon as you wake up, one at lunch, one at dinner and one just before sleeping. Side effects may include:
Frequent need to raise arms yelling RAN RAN RUU.
Bad balance on park benches.
Desire to hear techno.
Urge to pose in front of a mirror and dance oddly.
Need to clean limescale, rust, ground in dirt.
Finally, the need to see what it does to the penny.
seriously, i watch all this stuff and it works. Also watch YTPs.

During my travels trough the marvels and horrors of the web, I developed a fascination for creepy rumors and legends you can find, lurking in the dark corners of the internet.
Such stories, like
Slender man
( check at the right of the tree ) are so well develloped that even if you know they are false ( Slender man was created on the somethingaweful.com forums ), you still have second thoughts about watching trough your window in a dark wood ( especially after you saw
Marble Hornets
).
So, randomness, any videos/stories/pictures really freak you out while surfing the road of information ?
MAN! I just watched all 24 video entry's for the Marble Hornets series and Slender man. All I can say is...wow, that was scary. Especially if you watch the video responses by totheark. The mystery around it is really interesting and intriguing even if they are fake, which im sure they are. A part of me hopes they are real, but another part is glad they are probably fake, that way i can sleep tonight =)
But non the less the videos are awesome and I highly recommend then them to anyone who is interested in these kind of stories and unknown legends.
