Prot + Aura Mastery
While I can see this working, it's too bloated and carries too many offensive talents for a gimmick spec, not to mention it'll require protection gear for AD. How about
This Variation?
Have you tried this? It looks like it would work fairly well.
Is that a known Shackadin build or did you make it up specifically for this question?
I guess you Holy Shock yourself as often as you can.
Frequently cleanse yourself, and the added points in Sacred Clensing help reduce that chance that you get poisoned again.
A few more questions:
What aura would you run with once you got that flag?
Do you ever stop to FoL yourself or do you just keep running until you can HS yourself again.
What I had been doing when I had the flag was to bacon myself and then HS anyone on my team that was in range (other healers first of course). It was not working very well.
I usually do not pick up the flag. I run next to the FC and heal them as much as I can.

Concentration
Depends if there are interrupts on you (rogue, felhunter, etc)
You'd get FFed

I think you could skip PoJ
If something involves running, you want PoJ.

Blade only had 1 pnt in PoJ which would make Tuskarr's equal to it
I would honestly take one point out of One-Hand Weapons and put it in PoJ instead. The 15% is an obvious difference maker in the tunnels, especially if you consider other players may have already picked up a minor speed increase on their gear, making you only equal to them with just Tuskarr's.
EDIT: Got your guys' talent builds mixed up, my above statement is null. >_<

Ok the setup i have personally had a relatively large amount of success with (relative to the number of bg's i play) is
as follows
.
This setup works on these principles.
High health pool
High % damage reduction
Large no. of available cooldowns
Still reasonable damage output
Can also double as a heroics tanking build (because heroics are srz business)
What you will aim to do firstly is get yourself a full set of
ret
pvp gear.
Secondly you then must choose which you prefer; damage output (gem str), Stupidly high survivability (gem stam)
Finally find yourself a pocket healer
, sorry for bolding it but i can't stress this enough because no matter how good you are as soon as you come up against a half competent team all the gear in the world won't keep you alive (though you will probably take a minute to kill).
Any way, all the best. I'm yet to test this since the resil buff so could be even better now.
Edit*
Blade reminded me AD will be near useless, thus changing the points to DG.

What I don't understand is the facination with AD, you can replace two points into DG and have controlled 20% damage reduction (assuming no one near you is taking serious damage)
If anyone uses prot PvP in gear without defense, or low defense, can you tell me if AD saved your butt enough times to be worth 3 points?

The biggest downfall with prot for flag carrier would be you can block dodge or parry people chasing you. So the biggest sources of damage reduction are nullified. Yes they do get straight damage reduction & health buffs which help some.
The most important thing with carrying the flag is KEEP MOVING, if you stand still to heal, get stunned or slowed, you are much much more likely to die. Having as many ways out or reducing the duration of those effects IMO is the most important thing.
If you can stay ahead of the crowd you'll be fine, the amount of health needed to replace the damage taken while stunned/ slowed for an extra second or two is crazy, esp if multiple people catch up with you.
I personally would go with something like
this
, but it is really only good for the single purpose of getting ahead & staying ahead of those trying to kill you.
