I used to have a rogue back before tbc which i spent a bit playing, but back then you needed to do the massive quest chain for poisons, so i never bothered being new to the game.
Now i'm back into it witha main etc. i'm lving hybrid between subtlety and combat atm to help me with crowds of mobs, and my question is how should i progress with poisons? i've been using double instant poison for beats and instant on mainhand and crippling on offhand for humanoids. How should i choose my poisons while lvng?

When not in boss fights, wound/wound performs better. It procs faster than instant and the mobs die too fast for any kind of rotation. Not sure why you want the crippling poison other than to stop the running away thing, but then again, dead mobs don't run.

Crippling poison is great for mobs that run quickly. One situation that screams at me is the farmers in Hillsbrad. They take off at like 40%. I only wish I knew more about poisons waaaay back when I was that level, so I could have used it.
I agree though, besides using Crippling for constant runners, use Wound/Wound, the application chance is better than with Instant, unless you have the talent Improved Poisons. (I believe 3/5 at least? Correction here if necessary please.)
