I have been playing this game for almost 4 years now and Im looking for something different to do. I have raided every single instance from Naxx 10 to ICC 25 although I have only beaten through 3rd wing. I want to solo places like AQ, MC, BWL, TBC heroics, WoTLK Heroics, Doomwalker, Doomlord because I never really got to raid them. At first I thought Bear Druids were the kings of soloing. but I have recently watched a few videoe of both a paladin and a Dk soloing every single Northrend heroic along with doomwalker. If my goal is end game soloing should I go with a paladin, druid or DK? Or should I bet on the black horse and roll a warrior?

im not gonna lie...a DK is pretty OP in PvE i can basically kill things nonstop in a grind without have to to heal because i get the self heal from attacks+the presence...doing raids would be tough solo'ing without a healer of some sort and tanking really good...because a DK frost tank actually tanks by applying diseases, spreading them, and then causing %^&* tons of AoE damage..so eventually u would kill the monsters just by tanking..but u'd die without a healer, and pally would be best for single target healing

Is probably the God of soloing old stuff, and he uses a blood DK.
And while it's tricky, you can also solo a ton of raid/heroic stuff as a hunter if you use a very unconventional BM spec. There's some excellent guides to it here:

If you want it to be as easy as possible, probably a Paladin primarily because they can heal when tanking meanwhile a Druid has to shapeshift out of bear.
Protection paladin has: JoL/SoL, LoH, DS + Healing
Druid has: Frenzied Regeneration, Imp LotP, pre-casting heals before pulling (also, travel form + kiting + healing iirc)
I think the reasons why paladins are slightly easier are because a paladin can mitigate most or all damage in a non-raid with a blockset (3k blocks anyone?) and

Blood Death Knight since you have Plate + many self heals.
2nd is Prot Pally and 3rd is BM Hunter with one of the tank pets (turtle?).

Paladin is your choice for soloing raids/heroics. For the easier bits you can steamroll things as retribution. Just push the buttons, things will die before they hurt you, and DS + instant flashes provide reasonable healing. Heck, you're not limited to the easy stuff if you know what you are doing as ret.
But protection is a soloing powerhouse. First, as others have mentioned, between your armour, avoidance, block and resistance auras, you can shrug off most of the incoming damage quite easily. And then there's this one retardedly overpowered spell called Seal of Light. 1200 healing from each of your 1.5s weapon swings and some abilities, for each target they hit? If your health drops below 90% with this combo, take a screenshot, it's a damn miracle. It will take some time to wear down your enemies tho.

I know warriors can solo just about everything at lv 60.
They can also solo some pretty hard stuf like MGT heroic.
But yea, both paladins and DK's are probably better.
